While using felt was considered, we ultimately found that MDF offered desirable acoustic properties and a solid, wall-adhering product, which is not possible with stapled felt.

MDF excels as a soundproofing material due to its dense, randomly oriented fibre matrix that impedes sound transmission. Its highly compressed core is effective in blocking sound waves, making it an outstanding choice for soundproofing.

If you are panelling a large area exceeding 2400mm in height x 600mm in width we will provide you with roughly multiple equal-sized panels that can be seamlessly joined, accommodating your total length requirements.

Slat Sizing Full Wall

Craft a captivating focal point with our seamless, wall-to-wall Black Charcoal Slat Panels. When installing these panels across an entire wall, the end slats may slightly vary in size from the rest, ensuring a flawless, tailored fit. The maximum width of the final slat could be 35.5mm, while the minimum could be 14mm depending on the size of your wall. However, the evenly spaced charcoal slats create a visually stunning effect, drawing the eye towards the centre, and minimising the impact of the slightly differing end slat sizes.

Accent Area

You could also use black charcoal panelling to create a unique focal point in a room. To ensure all your end slats are the same size as all the other slats you'll need to order a width that is a multiple of 40mm +28mm. For example, the following width measurements will have all equal size slats:

628mm 668mm 708mm 748mm 788mm
