This is a very small, lightweight clamp which would fix a very small camera or a regular speedlight to the edge of a board or the leg of a thin tripod. The ball head does not always grip too well! Light enough to throw a couple in your speedlight bag - but I'd still take the stands along, or a much bigger clamp if I wanted to mount a DSLR.
