I love CWNP and its certifications, but...

In general CWNP is a great company with a outstanding customer servicer. However, I had a experience that made me disappointed.

I live out of the US. If I want to order a book I have to pay at leastt 50 $ for post.So I was interested to buy PDF of books, but it is not possible and the books are only available on kindle. I do not use kindle and I do not like any digital book reader. I prefer to print some part of the PDFs too.
I hope they sell PDF of their books in the future.

Hi Amir,

Thanks for your review! Unfortunately, because some folks ruin it for everyone, we cannot sell PDF copies of the book without it being plastered all over the internet. In the coming months, we will be releasing digital versions of the texts that are controlled by a viewer.

I hope that will help you!

i presently purchased a CWNA book to cover test 107.
This book has a number of run on sentences and was a bit confusing to follow. I feel that this company jumped the gun on publishing this book.

i am currently waiting on a know good publisher to release a CWNA book. it should be out this Oct.

The most recent copy of the book has been edited (a previous editor was not through and our apologies for your experience). Did you have the chance to try any of the other study materials?

I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to get into wireless.

Thank you for helping me to be certified as a wireless engineer. I think GOD for you all being there. I attended my first conference last year in which i met the fabulous staff of wireless gurus that helped make our job easy at times by them doing the leg work and providing instructions on all aspects of wireless. You all have helped me out of so many jams with cutting the cost of the conference to providing virtual conference this year so I could attend virtually and continue my studies of RF. Thanks

Not to the standards I would expect from this company.

The one and only book was not acceptable for students to pass. I found the book light in material and had I not found other study resources I would have failed. The payment portal is confusing and had to call for support to pay. Support is on the east coast so call before 2:00 pm and don’t attempt to call on a weekend.

I ordered the CWNA study guide and exam…

I ordered the CWNA study guide and exam voucher. I was then told the guide was out of stock and would take several weeks to deliver. They gave me access to some training videos while I waited.

The text that accompanies the videos has several spelling and grammar errors. So does the official study guide. The pages also don't have headers to label what chapter or topic the page is about.

So why three stars? The information covered in the guide is sufficient to get you through the exam, but it's a bit of a pain to flip through a book with no headers. The low quality product also gives me reservations about continuing certification up to the professional level.

Just completed my CWNP - Certified Wireless Technician course and exam, and I'm extremely happy with the knowledge I gained while studying and taking practice exams in preparation in what was a challenging but fair final exam. I'm looking forward to continuing my Wi-Fi education while using CWNP.

Some questions have multiple correct answers in the question that you are asking to choose only one option.
You have to ask for all correct answers or reduce the number of options.

Hello Max,

Thanks for your feedback! While there are some questions that may have more than one “okay” answer, we ask you to select the “best” answer. We would love to hear what questions you see as multiple correct answers. Please send them to support@cwnp.com and they will respond in a timely manner.

Thanks,
Charlotte

I am relative new to CWNP

I still have to do my first exam with CWNP so I cannot judge all things. The training materials and practice tests look fine to me. I like the special deals CWNP offers in their newsletters.

Would be great to have more options for purchasing study guides such as: ebook, ebook plus hardcopy. And to be provided with better delivery options as the costs are completely prohibitive for delivery outside US.
