We were really well looked after by Dale, we were looking to buy electric bikes and he was full of helpful knowledge and tips. So nice to speak to an expert and muddle through the marketing jargon together. Nothing beats a great in-store experience. Really recommend this branch, the staff there, and the great range in stock.

Ordered a click and collect from the Oxford store, travelled in by bus, only to find the item had not been sent, no one bothered letting me know, complete waste of my time.

I took two kids bikes in to get looked at and the level of service was incredible! Dave was so friendly - he talked me through everything he was doing and why, but the thing that really shone through was his passion for getting kids out on bikes. It was wonderful to find someone who is so passionate about their job, and the bikes have been working perfectly ever since : )

Cycle King, Oxford. I've been using this amazing bike shop for years. The service has always been fantastic with such knowledgable, efficient and friendly staff. I took my bike in yesterday for a repair and asked for advice on my bike helmet, which I bought from them 3 months ago. A huge shout out to Mikey - he spent about 20 minutes sorting it out as I had got the straps all twisted somehow; and giving me such great safety advice too. Honestly, he was brilliant and I am really grateful to him. Thank you so much Mikey !

Bought something online and went to pick it up at the shop I’d chosen- but you’d apparently sold it to someone else! I haven’t heard anything from you about it since. I’d like the bike bell I’ve already paid for please.

I popped into Cycle King in Oxford a little while back asking to buy a couple of screws to fix my rear mudguard back on. I offered to pay for the screws, but the guy on the till insisted that I have them for free and, not only that, kindly put them on my bike for me for free. Excellent service!

Quick delivery at a good price

My husband and I travelled to Oxford to take a look at the bikes. After about 30 minutes of looking at the ones on display (there was plenty to look at for both kids and adults), I decided on a GT Avalanche 29" in Grey. It was the perfect height, and I loved the colour. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the bikes. We would definitely recommend this lovely shop if you are thinking of purchasing a bike.

From the moment I walked into Cycle King to purchase a new bike to when I left with my brand new bike the support and service I received was excellent.

I was recommended a great bike within my price range and assisted to buy the accessories i needed to get my bike safely on the road including a helmet, lights and a lock. No hard sell just a few questions to ensure I bought the right bike for me.

The accessories were expertly added to my bike in no time at all.

Brought my bike in with a number of small issues (maybe 4 or 5). I described each one to Nathan, and every single one turned out to be a quick fix that he did cheerfully, in front of me, free of charge. I'm now so much safer and more comfortable on my bike. Thank you Nathan!!!

A great experience. I was really impressed with their stock as I had been trying to find a very specific fork which was unusual as the steer column was 270mm and Cycle King was the only place I could find one and at a reasonable price. Thank you everyone at Cycle King.

Bought a E-MISSION electric trike from Cowly in Oxfordshire and false advertising cause on there website they say it has 26 inch wheels when it has 24 inch wheels and they go on the mention that it has integrated front and rear lights it does not.
Disappointed to say the lease. It had a minor bump with a car doing a illegal uturn and hit my front wheel is now buckle Luckily not enough that can not ride it Would not buy from them again and n do not buy the E-MISSION electric trike it is not value for the money.

They actually super friendly and honest but it's all rubbish !
I kept bringing in my bike for a flat tyre 4 times in a row within less than a month and I was being told this is totally normal ! The dude kept changing the inner tube without even checking the underlying issue which actually was a couple of pieces of glass stuck in the rim.
They aren't honest and just rip you off, don't bring your bike there !

Had my service following my Cycle Scheme purchase from the same store 6 weeks prior. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and the turnaround was quick.

My bike was a great price, having never given me any real problems and it cycles really smooth. The service ironed out the few minor issues which were mainly to do with the tension in the gear change/brake cables (apparently quite normal for a new bicycle). I also had a few questions about accessories and how to continue looking after the bike, with the staff providing good information and assurance.

I'll definitely be going back to get more peripherals such as mud guards, when the weather turns.

I bought my electric bike from these lovely guys feb 2024. They’ve helped me maintain it and even helped replace major parts of my bike. Always made me feel welcome and outdone themselves when helping me with punctures, I mean fixed it so quickly I can use it the next day to get to work. I’m lost without my bike 😘

Fanatic customer service! I ordered a bycicle back wheel online, and it was ready to collect very soon! In addition, the gentleman who dealt with me was very polite, accommodating, and personable!

Fantastic helpful service without the hard sell.
The staff were great, knowledgeable and showed us all we wanted to see without pushing us to buy. So refreshing to have a professional and genuinely helpful service in a shop. We ended up buying a bike here for my son and I would definitely recommend this shop and will be going back at a later date to upgrade my bike. Great range of bikes at all prices for everyone. Drop in and see for your self, you won’t be disappointed.
