On collection, staff again helped to load the bike and business was complete. Very satisfied and have booked in for an annual service.

This time I just needed a few spokes as I have had several fail recently. You had exactly what I needed. i took my bike in with the assumption…

i took my bike in with the assumption that the motor on it had seized was easy enough I booked an appointment to drop my bike off online, dropped it in by 1pm on Tuesday and by Thursday it was repaired was well informed of the works and the fix cant fault the staff there and everyone was so polite was reluctant at first due to mixed reviews however so glad i did take it to Cyclomonster as ill happily return to them,

Outstanding service at Cyclo Monster Bike Shop

I recently had my bike Scott Addict serviced at Cyclo Monster Bike Shop, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

The quality of the work was outstanding. The bike came back feeling like new – gears shifting smoothly and precisely, drivetrain running quiet and clean, and everything dialled in perfectly.
You can really tell they pay attention to the smallest details and genuinely care about what they do.
The team was professional, honest, and very helpful. They explained everything clearly and didn’t try to upsell unnecessary extras, which I really appreciate.
The whole process was smooth and handled in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
I highly recommend Cyclo Monster to anyone who wants their bike looked after properly by true professionals.

I use Cyclo monster for accessories etc for my bike , young lad always helpful and friendly as I’m new new to e bikes , just had a gold star service and had tubeless set up done , great price , fast turnaround and kept me up to date on progress , mentioned a couple of items wearing that was not in in service price, absolutely no pressure use Cyclo monster for accessories etc add them on to service , I had done and glad I did can see and feel difference! Definitely will continue using them

Avoid. Time wasters.

My friend has an arthritic shoulder causing him problems cycling.
Realising that rigid forks weren't helping, I suggested a cushioned stem. He also thought that a dropper post would help him get on and off so being one of the last shops in the city, we visited.
They listed the items although they had none but my pal paid around £450 up front.
The kid behind the computer was fine taking payment but did nothing to expedite the shipment and after a fortnight the stem arrived.
After a month, not only did the dropper post fail to materialise, it was no longer in stock with their supplier. He took a refund.
This is just another of those " in stock at suppliers warehouse" outfits who only stock enough fast sellers to make it look like a bike shop when its really nothing like one.
I've spoken to an ex employee who confirmed, they're a lousy outfit to work for so I'm not surprised the kid on the computer isn't interested.
Don't waste your time or money with these clowns.

The staff member referred to is a trained, experienced colleague with a family and a valued member of our team — not “a kid on a computer.” We don’t tolerate personal insults toward our staff.

Like many independent bike shops, we stock a wide range of items both in-store and via UK suppliers. When items are ordered in, customers are clearly advised of lead times before payment is taken.

In the situation described, one item arrived and the other became unavailable from the supplier. A full refund was issued promptly when requested. This is standard, fair practice and complies with consumer law.

Claims about conversations with “ex-employees” and comments about our workplace are unsubstantiated and inaccurate.

We’re always happy to resolve genuine issues directly and transparently, but we can only do so when a real, identifiable order exists. If the reviewer wishes to contact us with verifiable details, we remain open to discussing the matter.

We would also encourage readers to look at the reviewer’s public review history, which shows a consistent pattern of one-star reviews across multiple unrelated businesses.

For everyone else: our reputation is built on looking after customers properly, being honest about availability, and supporting our staff — and we stand by that.

E-bike repair.

I had a replacement part fitted to my E-bike, which was ever so slightly out of line. I had contacted the shop, and they stated bring it in when you can. I duly delivered the bike, and the job was done within the time it took me to drive home.

Popped in to pick up a click and collect order and walked out having paid a deposit on an in-stock bike at a fantastic price. Took care of a warranty recall on the bike prior to collection for me too.

Very helpful staff across the workshop and sales.

Collected bike which was presented in top class condition and well prepared. Handover was thorough and professional.

All in all, top class service from start to finish.

Nothing short of excellent all round

If I could give more than 5* I would ... my son has a bike not purchased from here but after receiving NO after care from halfords on a brand new voodoo I decided to bring here .. cannot fault a thing ... helpful , trustworthy, very reasonably priced and fo the extra mile when I was in need ... thankyou so much ... credit where credit due ... and to tge owner your staff are a massive credit to your business especially the lads in the workshop .... extended thanks 👍

Beyond poor customer experience

Ordered a bike, had 3 in stock, happily took deposit, confirmed would call in a week with details for collection, they called a. Week later stated didn't have bike available and wouldn't be available, very unsupportive of situation and no recognition of the fault or confirming they will fix for future customers. I'm sure if you have a bike in stock, you'll be fine, but I hope there are no complications as the director and company owner I spoke to, couldn't have cared any less. Poor customer service doesn't even begin to cover it. I hope P takes this as a positive to fix fundamental flaws in his business.

Bike repair

Cycling in the Derby area and had a problem with my bike. Called in on the off chance they could fix it which they did most efficiently and even better without charge. Very helpful and pleasant.

Cheap box shifters

Bought a frog bike. The price was good and when I phoned the assistant was helpful.
Literally box shifters, even though I had to wait 7 days for dispatch they did nothing to prepare the bike. Ignored emails. Why make me wait, they did nothing
