While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Great - Until they decide you're not their market anymore.

I was getting emails telling me I was about to be charged for renewal.  Then they dropped my subscription with zero warning.

Quote: "The next payment for your "Cylance Smart Antivirus 2 Years 5 Devices" subscription is due on 12-DEC-2021."  Hooray!!!!

Then on 13-DEC-2021 I get: "Unfortunately, the subscription for "Cylance Smart Antivirus 2 Years 5 Devices" cannot be renewed. "  - Leaving me defenseless - abruptly worse than without warning!

I contact them and I get: "Thank you for contacting Cylance Smart AV! There is currently not a way to renew your subscription as Cylance Smart AV is being discontinued for new customers.  Current customers will receive support until the end of their subscription." My subscription had ended because my expired credit card was in their system - no option to update!

Horrendous! Now A security Threat!!!!!

We were early adopters of Cylance and have used the product for over 4 years now. Since the rollout of their version 1580 we have had nothing but problems. Cylance has blocked Visual Studio, GotoWebinar and Citrix. The behaviour of the product should allow us to find the file that has been quarantined through logs. This is not happening therefore we cannot whitelist. Support has been abysmal !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Based on the smart anti virus.

Is is based on the smart anti virus.

Pros:
- Lightweight

Cos:
- Allows all my test malware to be installed with no issue and they are known malware or purpose built malware for testing AV.
- Blocks all games from being installed or once installed removes the files so you cant play them.

Honestly bought this as i needed something lightweight but is lightweight worth having legit files blocked and illegitimate files allowed?
