I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Cyrus Rugs and cannot recommend them. The rug I ordered was advertised and pictured as grey, but what I received was beige/brown — a completely inaccurate product description.
When I requested a return, the company deducted the original shipping cost from my refund, even though I had already paid for shipping when I purchased the rug. They also required me to return the rug at my own expense. After I went through the effort and cost of sending it back, I was then told I could have just kept it. This demonstrates an inconsistent, unfair, and confusing return process.
Their customer service was unhelpful throughout, and their refund policy is far below industry standards. Many other companies offer better quality rugs, accurate product descriptions, fairer return policies, and more responsive service. I will not be purchasing from Cyrus Rugs again.

Genuine customer service and attention to details. This store is impeccably presented and has a diverse range of styles, sizes and patterns to choose from. I bought a room to suit a child's bedroom and it has certainly improved the aesthetics.

Great service at Maroochydore store…
Great service at Maroochydore store even though we could not purchase a rug there as we had no room in the car to bring it home. We went to the Tingalpa shop and found the same rug and were saved and out in 10 minutes. Just what i like, efficient and co operative people make a business.

Worst experience ever, rudest man ever not sure how he works in customer service.
Worst experience ever! Never have I in all my years been given such terrible customer service. Nalin from the Tingalapa Store was incredibly inconsiderate and rude. I purchased a rug from the lovely ladies at the Slacks Creek store who I will say went out of there way to help me choose the rug that I needed. Picked up my rug and found that there was a manufacturing fault called to let them know and they went out of there way to try and get me a replacement. They were able to locate one for me at the Tingalapa store. I called to check first to see if everything is okay and was advised yes all good. Drove an 1 hour, hauled my rug in hoping to take my new one home only to see that there were defects on the rug Nadim tried to tell me was okay. His advise was to just cut all the pulled threads off mind you there were alot and that this is okay/perfect to sell as is mind you this rug costs over $1,000. Then proceeds to tell me that he will will not help me and kind of shrugged. I did ask if he had mentioned this as I have just wasted my time driving all this way out and he advises me that I have wasted his time!! He then became even more rude and did not seem to want to help and started raising his voice etc. and still advising me that the rug is in good condition. My son took a video of him being very rude and inconsiderate and it seemed to me that under his breathe he was swearing at us as we cound not understand him and was not speaking clearly. By this time I had enough of his attidued and grabbed the original rug and decied to drive to the Slacks Creek store. The ladies there were so understanding. After this horrible experience with Nalin, I am hoping that I do receive the rug that I want, without any faults.

We have investigated this situation.
Firstly, we can confirm that the machine made rug within the Tingalpa store is not damaged. With all machine made rugs (along with any machine made material products e.g. clothing) they can have threads left on them. These can simply be trimmed off and is not considered damage at all. We have 30+ years experience behind this company with knowledge from the director and suppliers confirming that hanging threads / extra material is not considered damage. Secondly, Nalin has informed us that he offered to assist with these extra threads for you to receive a product to the best of standards but this offer was not accepted. We also have investigated the manner in which this conversation occurred and can confirm that the interaction was unpleasant for Nalin also as well as voices raised which lead other customers to vacate the store.
We do appreciate your feedback but do want to reiterate that the rug is not damaged but hope you receive the rug you want.
