Quick and efficient. Everything handled well and no complaints at all

One of the major factors when I was considering buying a Bob dishwasher was that you could return the used detergent cartridges for them to be refilled and therefore help to save the environment. This didn't turn out to be the case. I did not receive a voucher with the cartridges to return them so I contacted the company to find out what I needed to do. They would not reply unless I translated my email into French and when I did get a response they said they would contact me when they had worked out how the cartridges should be returned. They have not told me this therefore I cannot return the cartridges. Its been years since I contacted them.

Great company. Great tech. Bought a bob dishwasher, works flawlessly, such a helping hand, very pretty, delivered fast and arrived perfectly.

I love my little Bob, just enough room inside for what we use and he's not on for long saving us even more money, so glad he came into our lives, best little device without a doubt.

Loved it at first. After 6 months it died and kept shorting the house. Got no reply from Daan tech so we junked it. Don't buy one.

Didn't hear from them until yesterday and they sounded hurt !!! They are still unreliable. They still have dreadful customer service.

Great appliance, love bob, great machine

Overall the Bob dishwasher is ok and convenient given its size but I have had difficulties with it. More often than not I cannot fill the water tank without the door popping open (I now leave the door open until after filling the tank), and if the Bob has woken up during filling it often doesn’t start when I press the button and requires re-booting, sometimes several times. The only way I can get it to start is by pressing the button repeatedly and quickly before the machine initiates.
I contacted Daan Tech about the above problem but wasn’t at all happy with the response which fobbed me off with a useless and unhelpful answer.
In the latest batch of cassettes the Rock & Roll cleaning cassette is recognised as empty/not there so cannot be used as the machine won’t work.
I have bought the tablets and will be trying these soon.

I saw there dishwasher on the gadget show, so did a Google search and found them. They are a new start up company and I decided to pre-order one of there Bob dishwashers, as I always wanted one they were to big. But these are quite small and fitted on my work top, and does not need to be plumbed in. As for there cleaning etc they are excellent, and always do a great job. They come with there own brand of detergent comes in a cassette form. But now use Finish gel as there cassette’s are a bit expensive, but now they do a new model which takes a tablet.
So all in all they are great dishwasher’s and although the company is Paris they have a good customer service team.

Excellent product, excellent customer service. I didn’t think I’d be able to find a dishwasher to fit in the tiny space I had available in my tiny utility room in my downsized home, but Daan Tech ‘Bob’ the dishwasher fits perfectly. The cartridges that came with it performed excellently but I didn’t like the plastic waste involved but now they have ‘Bob’ tablettes which also perform excellently but where there is no unrecyclable waste. Thoroughly recommend!

I have no issue with my dishwasher, but have just learned that I cant buy cassettes anywhere in the UK and the cost to ship them from France is prohibitive.

Great dishwasher, can't fault it - things always come out clean no matter how dirty they go in, although we've changed to tablets as the hassle of getting the cartridges post Brexit has become more of a hassle than it's worth honestly they're really expensive per wash.

Unfortunately, at the point of purchase the website advised that French VAT was not payable due to Brexit and I'd get a refund from Daan Tech - only to be told that I wasn't getting one when I actually requested one as all of a sudden it was part of the purchase price, even after providing a screenshot of them admitting I'd get a refund! Surprisingly, the correspondence stopped at this point...

I was told in no uncertain terms I wasn't getting one and it took a credit card charge back to get the £66 back that I was rightfully owed, and had already paid to the UK Government on receipt of it.

5/10 - great dishwasher, borderline fraud from Daan Tech. Probably wouldn't buy one again unless I was in an EU country due to the VAT difficulties.

Bob dishwasher is ace. It's kept very busy.

Very compact no plumbing required just a sink for the drain pipe however it can take some juggling to get some things in

Excellent product. Easy to keep clean. Customer service is OK.

There is a small design flaw where the basket chafes away on the round plastic edging rail.

This phenomenon can be seen happening on the few Bob's which are listed for sale on Ebay so it not as isolated issue to mine.

It was inefficient at cleaning items. I wasted too much time on it and have decided never to have a dishwasher again.
