Amjad Ali was my instructor passed first time within 10-12 hours, patient and knowledgeable.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor than Beenish Riaz! Thanks to her incredible support and teaching, I passed my test with flying colours — and I couldn’t be happier (only 2 minors!).
From the very first lesson, she made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. Learning to drive can be nerve-wracking, but her calm, patient approach gave me so much confidence behind the wheel. She explains everything clearly, never makes you feel silly for asking questions, and always takes the time to make sure you truly understand.
She’s not only a fantastic teacher but also genuinely supportive and encouraging. She knew exactly when to push me to improve and when to reassure me, which made such a difference. Every lesson felt productive, well-structured, and focused on helping me become a safe and confident driver — not just pass the test.

I registered with Darz driving school, and Hafiz was my instructor. I only have very good remarks about him because he deserves it. He is a very patient, reliable, and experienced instructor. He was very committed to ensuring i passed my test. He encouraged me to have confidence while driving and supported me throughout the entire journey. Yasir is the best instructor ever! Not only did he manage to calm down my nerves just before my test, but he's been extremely supportive throughout my entire journey which led me to passing my test first time. Loved the experience very much.

I had one lesson with Amjad Ali the day before my test because my instructor was going to be unavailable for the test day and my instructor arranged for me to use Amjad’s car for the test as they were the same make and model.

That was the worst 2 hours. It seemed as though the wanted me to pay for lessons with him as he kept offering extra time lessons with him and I declined severally. He wanted me to do an additional 2 hours the morning of my test as a lesson. My instructor had told Amjad Ali I was test ready, which I was as I passed my test the next day, first time, with only 3 minors. Amjad Ali would press the break constantly to the point I had to tell him not to as it was unsafe, and confusing because he would hold the break when I wanted to move. He has claimed that he tried to stop a crash and this is inncorrect and false, i have driven before and know the rules of the road.

I would answer the show me tell me questions correctly then he would said I got them wrong then repeat my answer back to me, when I had just said that.

Amjad Ali was continuing to tell me that I had not done enough lessons, and that I should have asked him to do multiple lessons the week leading up to my test which i did not feel was necessary.

We saw my instructor parked up on Newport Rd and we stoped briefly as my instructor came to the window to ask how I was doing and Amjad Ali looked at my instructor and said he felt I needed more work, and that he wasn’t confident then as we drove off he said he felt I would fail my test and since its too late to rebook it is now a waste of money!!!

My instructor was behind me when Amjad Ali sharply braked at a cross road when I had priority, which I discussed with my instructor over the phone that evening and he assured me I was in the right and sent a video to confirm that.

I was completely distraught however whatever plan he had to regress my confidence he failed at and I still passed the next day no thanks to him whatsoever.

He was also late to come and pick me up on my test day in which I had to message him to ask for an ETA.

I am grateful he allowed me use his car and that is the only positive I have.

Since I wrote my initial review on google they called me and my instructor several times to tell me to take it down, they also reported the review and messaged me threatening legal action recently.

This is my experience and I have the right to write a review on it.

My test was in Oct 2024 and I received a message today asking, more like threatening me to take this review down.

I passed my test today. Hasan was not just an instructor he became a friend. He took me through all the test route and common fails with kindness routes. He worked on my weaknesses. I will send him a beer when arsenal wins the league😉

I learned to fully avoid the mistakes I kept doing, I learned new things every lesson that I only took around 10 lessons until I set my test and then passed it. Much appreciation to Amneh

The service I received from Yasir from DARZ was incredible, he would point out my faults and go in depth so I can understand the problem and be able to find the solution, he would go over and beyond to help me pass my driving test, he put his full focus on helping me to master my driving skills so when I attempted my driving test I had no fear of failing and understood every variable in the test and focused on passing each task step by step.

Thanks to Junaid I have passed today with only one minor fault he has been a very good instructor and helped me out loads so a big thanks to him it was a really good experience and he taught me very well

My daughter has just today passed her test, with only three minors, Yasir from Darz driving school was her instructor, he’s been amazing with her especially when she’s been nervous and anxious, he’s completely put her at ease, allowing her to not worry if she made mistakes! I travelled all the way from London to Bolton just for my driving test, after getting his number from a friend. I used to think I was crazy for making such a long trip just for lessons and a test… but all that changed today when I passed my driving test on the first attempt!

You might not believe this, but I needed three tries to pass my theory test—yet I passed my practical on the first go! It still feels crazy, and I can hardly believe I’ve actually passed.

When it comes to his skills—you can really see his 20 years of experience in every lesson. He works with you to correct even the smallest mistakes, explains everything with real-life scenarios, and keeps going until it really sticks in your mind.

He studies your driving carefully, gives you a realistic timeline, and creates a clear plan to follow. I was in Bolton for just 3 days, and he gave me rigorous training—2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening. That intense practice is what made it possible for me to get my license in one attempt.
