Dash Cam Pro - First Impressions
First impressions of the Dash Cam Pro are very good indeed. Even for someone like me who is not 'tech savvy', it was easy to fit and started to work immediately. When I needed clarification, the Customer Support was remarkably quick and helpful, even on New Year's Day - very impressive and much appreciated.

Ordered a Dash Cam Apex just before Christmas so was lucky to get a nice extra discount. Delivery was prompt, the product looks to be of good quality and the instructions seem to be clear but not had chance to install it yet so🤞

Quick delivery
Quick delivery, amazing discounted price for two items.
The instructions are not overly comprensive. The menu is touch screen type, if you want to format the SD card the method is not obvious. Touch the menu icon then go to the left side of the screen and scroll down, you will find a lot more options, one of which is format. Delete recordings by choosing Files. Pick a file and touch the delete dustbin. This dash cam is extremely useful for my wife and I as we have several cars and can move it from one to another. The stick on dash cams do not allow this option.

Order process was very easy
Order process was very easy, lots of different items to choose from, parcel was late being delivered and there was a massive issue with the delivery company (ending up in compliants to the delivery company). But Dashvision were able to provide evidence of when the parcel was delivered and to who (just not the address and it wasn't my address). Dash cam is light and easy to use, only thing is there is no play back so we have to get further device to play back the footage. Partner loved it for Xmas present.

Got this for our van because it only had sensors for reversing. The system was easy plug and play with a little wiring for the reverse camera. I had it fitted within a couple of hours. Instant upgrade to apple play and android. No cutting of wires and simple to install.

Just received the Dash Vision Pro
Just received the Dash Vision Pro, not yet fitted but looks like a nice piece of kit, unfortunately it didn’t come with a hard wire kit but probably my fault for not looking into it in more detail when I ordered. Delivered late at night so no chance of fitting it in the dark so the proof is in the pudding tomorrow.

Small Claims Court
Order #DV164518419
I purchased a Dashcam Pro and it was faulty out of the box. I agreed to try numerous fixes but none worked and a replacement camera was sent.
The replacement camera was also faulty. After spending days trying numerous fixes, none of which worked, I asked for a full refund. Dash Vision agreed to provide the refund but would not pay for the return postage.
I pointed out that under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the seller is responsible for paying the costs of return postage for faulty items. The relevant area of the act is Section 20(8).
Dash Vision insisted they wouldn’t pay as it is not in their terms and conditions. I again pointed out that legislation in the UK overrides any terms and conditions a company has and that a company cannot have policies or terms and conditions that are themselves illegal in law.
I have filed a claim with the Small Claims Court to recover the costs of the camera and return postage.
Customers should be aware that it is the legal responsibility of the seller to pay the return postage costs for an item that is faulty. A company cannot use its own terms and conditions to supersede the law.
