I thought this was funny when I got email from them saying;

I didn't sign up for anything or from anyone. To me, it's looks like another scam to get your info.

Scammers stealing data

Rather than help people with data protection breaches, this disgusting company actually steals data. As someone else pointed out, they're lying about the reviews on TrustPilot (if you click the supposed reviews that are on their website, they don't go anywhere) as that person's review is the first and mine is the second. There's something wrong with TrustPilot's systems as the company should have a 1 star rating as myself and the only other reviewer both give 1 star. I can only assume there were fake reviews and the system doesn't take account of the rating when deleting them.

Anyway, don't risk using data-breach.com or any similar company. Use an actual solicitor registered with the law society, or a legit advice organisation such as a law centre. Sometimes simply complaining to the organisation will get a compensation offer.

The company is lying about having five stars on Trustpilot; my review is the first. I don't believe that you've won 14,000 cases. I don't believe that you were mentioned on the BBC or any other media. I searched and was not able to find you - shameful scammers.
