Working with Datapacket has been an absolute pleasure! I used their IP-Transit service with DDoS protection in Warsaw, and everything worked flawlessly. The service is extremely stable, latency... See more

Trustworthy and Helpful. And prompt in replying to enquires and requests.
If you can select the package manually, you should contact the customer service every time you change it. Although your response speed is very fast, it is not as good as the selection on the page.

When we made our initial review of Datapacket we had only a couple of servers pushing out a moderate amount of bandwidth, we now a total of 11 servers and total customer satisfaction has been exceptional - growth has been steady and rare issues are resolved quickly and effectively with the networking and engineering team. Flexible trials have allowed us to test infrastructure and configurations so that we can clamp down on server configs with peace of mind. Outstanding customer service!
Thank you very much, I am satisfied with your good site
My server was removed from the account I own and the credentials were never mailed to me. I didn't even get to use the server and now it is no longer showing up. Stay away from these guys!!

DataPacket has been the provider I can trust! Their support is consistently there and Simon is truly the bringer of joy! It feels like he's part of my team.
DataPacket is more expensive than other options, but you certainly get what you pay for. I love how they offer BGP communities; being able to control their massively powerful & protected network is so, so cool!
Thank you everyone @ DataPacket!

If DataPacket wants to be a serious DDoS protection provider they need to re-work their DDoS protection.
Otherwise their customer are going to move over to hosts like Tempest Hosting that offer much better protection.
DataPacket needs to implement a firewall manager in the Dashboard so you can limit to what you actually need to enter your server.
Ex: If you are using a TCP Application, drop UDP traffic to prevent UDP attacks from being effective.
Currently this isn't possible on DataPacket without a lengthy process and fee.
DataPacket also needs to implement a stateful Anti-DDoS solution. Symmetric filtering is important for stopping TCP-based attacks. Their current mitigation drops all active TCP connections which is extremely interruptive. A stateful anti-ddos setup can also benefit by improving overall protection by dropping out-of-state TCP packets.
Additionally DataPacket needs to implement layer 7 application-based filters to only allow certain application-based traffic from entering your server.
DataPacket has the potential to create a great Anti-DDoS product if they make the correct changes. Overall my experience with DataPacket has been good excluding the DDoS Protection.

I've had a server for over a week so far and some initial brief tests on it show both the server and network to be excellent.
Customer service has been fairly prompt and helpful in their responses by email. Sales have been accommodating, I wanted to order a server specification that sadly become out of stock temporarily. Rather than forcing me to wait they offered to provide a slightly higher specification for the same price as the original specification for one month, which I agreed to, by which time a migration could take place to the original specification if I decide to do so.
Unfortunately I've had a problem which at the moment my ISP is trying to resolve but I have a feeling it's a challenge for them. Basically my latency is higher than expected to Datapacket's network in London (18ms instead of around 4ms). This is caused by my ISP's unfortunate routing going via France and then back to London. My ISP however is trying to resolve this but has limited options to do so because they don't have a vast number of upstreams to allow them to take a different and hopefully local route.
From my brief time of using the server it appears to be excellent, other than my own connection to the DataPacket server currently. I don't currently use the server but hope to do so if my ISP can resolve this issue before the server's renewal is due. Pricing is perhaps a bit on the steep side but ultimately you also get what you pay for and should expect from a premium grade service.
If my ISP can't resolve the issue I mentioned above by the end of next week then I may have to consider terminating the server sadly and possibly returning in the future if my ISP has resolved the issue.

This is my second review about them. I cannot praise them enough - they go extra mile for you, communication is impressive and the guys behind the whole operation is top tier. I had a pleasure working with Jiri, Ondra and Simon - they all know what they are doing. We started with just IP transit and now they are our reliable partner for everything servers and network. We are in the process of moving our whole infrastructure to them.

You have a super bad support,
The miss a lot of technical knowledge... they know how to speak only to give the customer the option to forget his problem
I'm a new customer, and you have a major network problem, and the support team don't know even how to start check the issue or my problem ...
Too much world's and speak and zero effect
