I should have read the reviews here first. I signed up two days ago waiting to dispute my credit card. What an awful awful app. Every single match sounded like phony responses and are all geographically undesirable from South America, Europe and thousands of miles away in the US. Not one near me at all. I only went on one other dating app, Ourtime, and that was a long time ago. Going to go back on that one it was more honest than this piece of garbage.

Scam from members to the customer care

3years on datemyage and the worst mistake of my life. Members aren't verified, 99% of them are scammers, you will never meet them. I was scammed after I did my own investigation. The site will not refund you. They will only remove the scammer and give you credits so that you can stay and get scammed again. They only after your money. You WILL be emotionally financially mentally ruined. After 3years I should know. The worst for me was the customer care

Misleading and baiting

I think the person I was communicating with was baiting me so I would continue to add money to my account. When I got suspicious about this he asked me if I liked his questions. And I think it’s cruel.

Its a total scam, fake profiles , all these beautiful extremely successful women who need expensive gifts to keep chatting , and will not go to wahtapp of WeChat (as the continual cash drain would disappear) tried cancelling , the email confirmation will not allow me too , will call again and if no luck will report to the appropriate authorities - THIS IS NOT A DATING SITE , its a scam BE WARNED !!!

Avoid

The reason why I subscribed to this website was because of the high rating it was given on another site. It was only second to Match and had a score over 9/10.

I had only one conversation - which did feel pretentious. She strangely had 30+ photo's on her profile plus she was a "Free User". When I asked her to continue the conversation on WhatsApp she refused which curbed my interest.

I then realized that these tokens you receive after payment became less after EVERY MINUTE you spend on the website. This is when I immediately asked for a refund.

I did receive one a day or so later but I'm still giving one star. It's one thing ripping people off, it's another playing with their feelings - and anyone associated with this site should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

It is a SCAM

It is a SCAM. For one month I have been following directions to cancel. They say they will send a confirmation email to finalize but it never arrives. I receive all other Datemyage notifications, so I know there's network connectivity.
I have reached out to my credit card support to report this scam site.
Datemyage support is all automated/fake, so you'll never connect with a live agent.
That and when you join, you receive tons of AI connections. You'll know immediately because they love the heck out of you on the first message. Its disgusting and such a let down.

chat bot to ask you top up credit

his website uses chatbots to make you believe you are talking to a verified member. Please be aware that all so-called "verified members" are actually free accounts, while you have to pay if you want to chat with them. For example, once I sent a long message to a “member,” which cost me 1 credit. The person replied that long texts were uncomfortable to read and asked me to use the app’s feature for long messages—which costs 10 credits! At that moment, I realized I was chatting with a bot. To test it, I sent an even longer message, which the bot could not handle. Then I asked for a simple photo of a hand gesture, but the bot made excuses. Of course, a chatbot cannot instantly provide a real photo.

Please don’t be fooled by this scam.

This platform is garbage !!

This platform is garbage !!! It’s filled with bots not real men and you’ll spend $40 in “credits” in like 15 minutes. There are zero free features. Honestly I gave my number to three men in my city / asked them to meet up and all of them had same response “oh that’s moving too fast, let’s get to know each other for a while” and go back to spitting these ridiculous poetic fake questions. So fake! Honestly that site should be ashamed of themselves !! Do not try this app - all scammers. I hope this site gets reported and SHUT DOWN its bs and some women will be scamme and lose lots of $! You can’t even set searches to just your area and so all these men from Brazil and Italy fill your inbox and then to read anything they zap your credits. It’s the worst app out there and how are they not in big trouble and shut down yet is beyond me ! Stay away from this site. Go use the real ones please.

Two Different men and many thousands of dollars later I can say without any Doubt that this site is a 100% scam and even the last person that I talked to admitted to being a Chat Operator in the last message they sent me. They impersonated a very good looking Brazilian man and lead many women into a belief of love lying the whole time to make this site money. One of them actually they sent a video from who scammed me even so this site is atrociously hurtful to people and their psychological health and their financial wellness. It needs to be removed. Get ZERO stars would be more like it. I requested a refund on both scam accounts but no they said that it was not found to be a scam and that they are both free members. Scammers

Scammers — a complete group of fraudsters. They deliberately deceive people to make money. Unfortunately, I only realized I had been scammed after spending $20,000 on this website. It is both shameful and despicable to exploit people’s emotions for profit. I will report this to the police, at the very least to ensure that this scam operation is removed from the Singapore market and to prevent others from being deceived again.

Even after I changed my profile picture to that of a man, I still received many messages and video invitations. Like vampires, they scam other people’s money. It is utterly shameful.

SCAM!! Steals your money

I believe I was communicating with a bot. The communications were inconsistent and vague when asked certain questions. When I tried to cancel the subscription, I went through all of the advised steps listed on the site, but when it came to clicking on the "Confirm Cancellation" within the customer service email, I continued to get the message " there is an issue with the cancellation. Try again." I tried again, and again and again, but always received the same message. I contacted CS, but was only told to follow the steps, which were the same I had already followed. I will have to cancel my credit card and contact BBB to report them.
