I posted a profile with some specific requests for how to message me. Four months -- not one of the bots actually acted on my requests. I'm convinced that the site is 100% bots, and not very sophisticated bots at that. No real women at all. Just a come-on site for the excessively gullible. I'm sufficiently cynical that I was able to avoid spending any money on this bot-site.

oh please - This site is SO fake

oh please! all these people that are rating this site a 5 star are as FAKE as the actors on it.

I'll give you an example. Within 4 hours of registering for this site, I had 22 HOT (7-9 rating) women pinging me. YES, i said 22. I was on two other large legitimate dating sites, and in 3 months I never had 22 women contact me, COMBINED. And the ones that did on those sites, were your regular 3-6 ratings.

The scam starts like this, HI! what are are you into? tell me your dirty secrets, I'll tell you mine. What are you into? (string along, string along, string along). Then when the talk about let's just get together comes up, they change the subject to, what kind of movies do you like?

Scam number 2. It COSTS coins to chat. My dumb ass bought $100 worth of coins thinking I was going to get 5000 texts. Oh no, each text is 50 coins! so, when you tell the other 'girl' that you are running out of coins, she says, well, you can buy more. I'm worth it aren't I? That should be the dead give away. When I would say, ok, let's continue this using a freeapp, like whatsapp, or hell, even email. Oh no. they can't do that. there's always a reason.

So, it seems to me 1) they are reading from a script. 2) they are being paid or compensated in some form for keeping the user talking. 3) THe profiles are all fake, and there is one person pretending to be 5 or 10 people. You never know, right? for all intents and purposes, these could be guys your talking to, thinking is a girl.

This is nothing more than a money scan, just like any phone service. At least with a phone service there is some understanding there will be a 'happy ending' even if you have to provide it yourself.

I believe all the 5 star ratings are nothing more than the 'actors' going online and writing them.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. Use a real dating site, or something like tinder if you are looking for hook ups.

Scam

Scam - automated responses to get you to keep chatting and paying the chat fee of $1 per message - a few failed attempts to chat off line on cell failed and generated automated responses from website - fake chat content and who knows about pics and profiles - likely fake too - waste of one and money

Site is terrible

Site is terrible. It is a scam site that gets people to pay money to buy coins. You use the coins then to send messages. Why not talk or text on a phone. Waste of time. Don't waste your money.

Obvious scam and fake reviews

Obvious scam. I was sent here after investigating a few spam comments on YouTube and it costs a buck just to send a message. All the 5 star reviews are fake AF and obviously written by semi-illiterate Indians who use way too many periods.....

DateYou - Don't Waste Your Money on Scam Site!

First, in their "General Terms & Conditions (11e)," the Website says "MP Mobile Performance uses professional animators and operators for the entertainment of the users, who are not identified separately in the system... Real meetings are not possible with these operators. Users can only send them messages within the portal." My interpretation is that this is a legal admission that the website is sprinkled with fake profiles and/or chatbots, or that, Office Workers (professional operators) are pretending to be the women in the profiles, and you are chatting with MP employees. If true, I don't consider that to be entertaining at all! In the CHAT feature, You are charged 50 coins EVERY TIME you make a comment, and hit the Enter Key! Every time you send a sentence, or even one word, to a Member, it's 50 coins deducted! That's approximately $1 per response or comment! ( At $24.99 for 1270 Coins + 120 Bonus = 1390 coins) SO, the Professional Operators and/or Members will keep you chatting to drain your wallet! Also, I used DateYou during Graveyard Shift or hours when most normal people and women are asleep. It is peculiar and suspect that Majority of Women that sent me letters are magically Online exactly when I am there, even at 3AM, and send back a quick response to any note that I send. My message doesn't wait in queue until female member wakes up. Nope! I get a quick response. They all seem to online when I am there, even in the wee hours at 3AM instead of asleep! Or, maybe MP Professional Operators are on shift to send back quick responses, keep you chatting, 50. 50. 50. Coins, draining your wallet! Also, I sent Responses to Females who wrote me first. I provided my Yahoo email to them with request that they write me there. Of course, No female will do that, because DateYou can't charge 50 coins per comment if you go off their website to communicate through regular email. So the females make excuses to avoid email, or ignore my request by trying to elicit more online chat response from me. A Northridge female stated that she was so attracted to my profile that she wanted to EAT ME up! So I provided my Yahoo email asking her to contact me there for further communication. Why can't she do that? Her response: "I am much more comfortable to talk to you in here. I hope you will understand me this time!" Nope, I don't understand if she wants to Eat Me why she won't write my email. Well, if she did that, then DateYou couldn't charge 50, 50, 50... coins every time! I'm getting letters from female members that are quite unattractive, below average in appearance, having 2, or 3+ children, so I thought these Women must be real persons. Not fake profiles of beautiful Russian or Ukrainian models who want to marry you even though you never met. However, now when every woman refuses to switch to regular email, I'm thinking this website is a fraud, too!

dateyou.com is a scam

dateyou.com is a scam. The women on the site are either employed or receive payment from having men buy coins.

They all have the same pat line if you request a number to text: "Let's get to know each other more here.", or "I don't have a working phone". How can you be on an app w/o a working phone????

Additionally most women who claim to be 35 years old or less look like your Grandmother. Weathered faces, saggy breasts - definitely not under 40.

I wasted enough money - don't waste yours.

100% percent scam

100% percent scam. Coincidently the minute I sign on, the women magically appear noting that I'm new, calling me things like baby, and darling, one even told me they loved my profile pic, the only problem was I had not posted a picture yet. They got $70 out of men but I'm going to make it my life's work to get them shut down. They're headquartered in Cypress where is were most scam escort and massage sites are located. Stay far far away.

The sole proprietor is Theodoros Theodorou located at PROTOPAPAS BLDG, Floor 2, Flat 201, 79 Spyrou Kyprianou
Limassol , 3076
Cyprus

Don't believe any of these positive reviews this language is buried in their "terms" fine print.

MP Mobile Performance uses professional animators and operators for the entertainment of the Users, who are not identified separately in the system. This Service is provided in the highest quality. Real meetings are not possible with these operators. Users can only send them messages within the portal.

In other words, the contacts you receive are bots, and they specifically indicate you are unable to meet these "operators".

We need to do everything possible to shut this site down.

A Very Elaborate Staff/Bot System

From a guy's perspective, you have to be very cautious with this site. A few new sites are coming out that are either bots and/or staff that act out they are interested in you. Gone are the days of automated chat/bots which are very elaborate, but are still fake (you have probably seen them in spam, they sound real, but miss your conversation and constantly trying to get you to "verify" yourself, or look at their profile, but never in the conversation - it is just one-sided), and now they are using REAL live people to real you in, and even chat with you, as though they are the actual girl.

Case and point. Normally when I check out these sites (hey, I'm single LOL), I NEVER put up a pic. Now I've been to legit sites, and I am lucky if I get a hit once maybe twice in 6 months. Seriously, why would you meet or chat with anyone without an image? Creepy or risky, yet on DATEYOU, as a guy, your mailbox is hit with 3-5 a day! And the ones that you "view" start emailing you as well. Things like "cutie" and "I saw your profile and I think we would be perfect"(but don't mention a pic).

The chats, since they are not bots, are from staff, and can carry a decent conversation - however, the chats are VERY expensive. Over 50pts. So when you start you get enough for about 3 chats, 1 person 3x or 3 different girls.

If you tell them it is expensive to chat and let's carry this to my email (disposable or otherwise) suddenly they can't. They prefer here, and why not - the longer they keep you on, the more you spend your money to get more credits to talk.

Dateyou is a new generation of "smart (like smartphone, smartv type smart) dating" (scammy) sites. They use staff to chat with you but never going out of the way to exchange a phone number (if they do it is fake) or emails (again, just a fake girl that you have to "verify" who you are by following another dating link).

Again, no pic, and I am bombarded by those wanting to meet me. But no actual exchange to make it work. Are there real girls there? I think so, but extremely difficult to determine the staff vs your lover.

Good Luck!

Only 1 thing good, my card didn't go through!

The good thing is there is something wrong with the credit card acceptance. I have great credit and excellent credit cards and it wouldn't take. I'm happy about that because this site seems so much like a FAKE site. The Woman poor on you like wild fire and try to get you to contact them. There is no way this is real. I seen guys post that they are happy probably work for dateyou.com I'm not happy but I'm glad I was not able to pay for the coins. A buck a message? Wow what a scam.

Iv'e been on enough dating sites to know this one is a SCAM! Now they are even coming here to leave FAKE 5 star reviews. Shame on you Trustpilot. I was getting taunting messages from about 20+ "women" asking why I'm not responding, all in my city. (FAKE) When I logged in at 4am they were all "Online"(FAKE) I don't know how this is still legal. Do not give them any money, that's the only way we can get rid of them. SCAMMERS!!!

The profiles appear to be all fake.

Enjoyed it for a few minutes. It’s obvious the people you’re chatting with are either AI bots or people working in some office in Cyprus. Every member is online 100% of the time? Every woman just goes straight to talking dirty? Every message you send costs $1? It can’t possibly be real. It’s entertaining but you won’t be meeting any real humans on this site unfortunately.

Scam you will talk to bots not real people.

I knew this was a scam from the git go. It starts out with women close to you, then they work out farther and farther from you. The Geo location seems to have many in one area, and when it done it picks another geo location. I thought about it and when I sat on it I decided not to buy coins. At a different site I bought a 5 month subscription and when it expired, the person I was chatting with, some how disappeared. so base on that experience, I felt this was about the same scam I get many emails and then a repeat I have not heard from you but I will give you another chance, or it is not proper to look at a profile without saying something but you looked at mine first... Or they ask you what is your status, it does not say on your profile and it clearly does.. so I wont spend money on them cause I knew they were a scam from the start.
