I've been wanting to figure out a reliable hosting solution for a discord community gaming server for a while now, and Palworld came to mind.

After doing a bunch of googling and digging around on reddit, I stumbled upon a reddit post that mentioned DatHost by name, and said they were pretty good.

I said "sure, let's check them out!", I was impressed by the price tag first and foremost. Super affordable without any of that gross pricing markup for player slots. A solid 32 players for about 15$ USD a month, instead of a sketchy pay scale. I was sold!

It was extremely easy to do the start-up config and setup to get the server running, and even password protected.

We're nearly a month in (at the time of this review), and other than a handful of crashes, which is to be expected on a game clearly indicated as being still early access, the server has been stable, reliable, and our community loves it.

I've already recommended DatHost to a friend of mine that is interested in renting a dedicated server for a different game.

More than that, DatHost's support has been amazingly helpful too. I've asked a bunch of questions in the 30 days that I've been renting my server through them, and they've responded with helpful answers and information in reasonable amounts of time, and even helped me get rid of a toxic player when I wasn't sure of how to do so because of technical reasons.

All in all, if anyone's a skeptic, I urge you to give DatHost a shot for a month and see if you like their services.

Reliable servers, good prices, easy file-management, and exelent service. I have tried multiple server-hosts, and none is comparable to the experience i have had here. We've recently experienced some issues with our server, and even though its my files there is an issue with, and not the server, the support team assists. They have gone above and beyond to help us fix our issues. They read crashlogs and profilers, give multiple solutions on what to do to resolve the issue.
If you're considering getting a server, this is the place you shoud get it.

Literally the best server hosting website. The servers are affordable and cheap with amazing game performance and zero lag. The support team responds fast, they are also kind and understanding. I recommend DatHost !!!🫶🏻🫶🏻

The servers are really stable. The team behind dathost is responsive to tickets when you make requests like clustering or need to ask a question. They give really helpful, thoughtful, and thorough responses. The servers, for some games, even offer more than some others. I came from a server host that didn’t allow modding for palworld. Dathost does and makes it super easy. They also had a setting so the server didn’t have to be public which meant I could stop requiring a password. File management and server setting changes are made very easy. The people there are friendly, the servers are awesome. I wouldn’t even consider a different server host; they are that good.

Bought the server 2 days ago there was no problem during that time of period but after some days the server slowly become ustable the terrain and chunks were slow and glitchy you have to wait a few second for a mob to get damaged when you hit them

I've had a server with DatHost for a couple years now, started with Palworld and now Minecraft! They are AWESOME! Competitively priced, quick and helpful and friendly responses to questions, almost 0 lag in servers, easy setup and change of game... I have 0 complaints or issues! Every time I ask for help setting up my modpacks or changing something, I get a prompt and clear reply which is more than I can say for a couple other server hosts I've tried. They are just the best and I look forward to using them for years to come!

I was with DatHost for 6 months and had barely any issues with my server. The only issue I ended up having was some server rubberbanding, but this was due to them using hardware that wasn’t good for the game I was hosting on.

My wife and I have been using Dathost for over a month now an from personal experience this is one of the best server hosting we have used. They have a fair and competitive monthly plans and their support is out of this world. I recommend anyone that is needing a gaming server to use Dathost, thank you again Dathost for your services.

I am happy about the host but after time i saw that 34 locations got down to 15?

this is the worst hosting site ever i got on yesterday at 6 pm been trying to get the mods ect to work but it just blank out my screen cant remove the mods unless i delete my entire world yeah no ill stick to the real mvps of host because dat host aint it i expect my full refund today is 7.21.25 im a very displeased customer.

Around 2 weeks ago I bought a Minecraft-server subscription for about 13$, AND GOT 16GB RAM!? That is the cheapest one I've ever found for a great amount of RAM. Very easy to navigate through their Control Panel and manage the server (I need to mention, I do have experience with Control Panels etc., so to someone that is completely new to buying a Minecraft-server it might be a bit more difficult, but that goes for all Minecraft hosters.). Excellent support if you need any help, quick response (for me it took like 20 min), nice and understandable responses. I have a lot of experience with different Minecraft-server hosters, and this is BY FAR the best one, and I will gladly buy a subscription here any time in the future. 10/10!

Absolutely great service, they provide just one plan for your server and its cheap. So first i was thinking it is low quality. But here i got more than double the server specs, for half the price. Amazing concept. You truly feel like they are in this business cause they actually like it. And not because they want to rip people off.

I love this company. I even switched because it was so much cheaper and I'm glad I did. I also love the idea of being able to switch games if you decide to move on to something new. I also love the simplicity of adding mods. Can't say much about the mods themselves because it's always a hit or miss on a different site. I believe I'll be staying for the long run.

Had a valheim server we all played on which worked marvelously !

Had a problem with my bank and couldnt keep up with payment, so the subscription got canceled. When I payed the subscription again ( 30+ days later) , we noticed that our save was gone.

However after writing a message to support, they got back to me within an hour and got our save back !
