The site is good as you can meet people from all over the world. The issue is credits. They run out do quickly that it's not cost effective.
Chatting should be free and if you want to purchase gifts or video calls that can be and should be purchased.
The site is almost like an escort service where you are paying to view photos. It's almost like a scam.

I was on dating.com for almost 2 years, I was chatting with only one person starting feb/2024 and lasted November 2025. I thought everything was going fine until he suddenly disappeared from the platform. He left me a message, and said to my dearest, I am sorry but my mom had heart attack and left me reeling and I am in anguish, and hope you understand, my reply was, don’t worry I understand. So in my understanding he will just take care of his mother and be back, well he totally disappeared from the platform! We exchanged photos and voice messages, but he never wants to video call, which is red flag, he said his camera is broken, and he said give him a time to fix it! But one I saw him on the video but no sound, he doesn’t know I was watching him, yes he is the one on photos, when I told I saw him, he said his camera was broken, so I knew he was lying to me, but I said nothing. But yes he was the one on the photos! He confessed his love to me, and planning to meet, but why disappear on the face of the platform, and leave me a very beautiful message. I will not lie, I was heart broken. His name is Ralph from Valencia Spain.

Be prepared to pay out nose to talk to people. Would be very easy to spend hundreds of dollars a day . I enjoyed the site to some degree , however that faded quickly as the charges added up .. rapidly.

I was on dating and Amolatina for a year and a half. I was manipulated, my emotions were played with and I was emotionally manipulated. There was even some gaslighting involved. I turned it into dating only for them to help the model out. I was talking to Patti who is now gone from the platform. The one in the photos was Angie Miraval from Colombia. Well she claims that her photos were stolen but how come I was sent a video from Patti of Angie Miraval saying that she doesn’t have a profile on the site and that whoever it was it wasn’t her. Hahahaha Yes as I said Patti the one she claimed to not be sent me a video of Angie Miraval. Then they sent me a video of Angie Miraval saying that she doesn’t have social media because I talked to her on Facebook Messenger. It’s just one big scam. The second video was sent from dating saying in a email from dating that Angie Miraval has a profile with them and she has provided them with a certified video. I know from all the evidence I have that Angie Miraval was in on the scam also. I stayed on dating and I have been investigating them but I’m off the platforms now. I will never go back I have exactly what I need . Dating claimed that I didn’t have the money to talk on their platform. They don’t know anything about my finances. I have emails and screenshots from the whole time. I have every email that they have ever sent me. I’ll be talking to you all soon. I have the 2 videos and plenty of evidence. They are scammers and Dimitri Volkov the owner and inventor is a fraud. They use models pictures to draw you in. My story is full of scammers and dating was even manipulative to me. I got this thing under control. If you’re a fan of Angie Miraval well by the videos I have and screenshots it will show that she’s a liar.

ALL WOMEN BEWARE....
THIS SITE IS FULL OF CATFISHERS......
ABSOLUTELY WITH PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO SOUTH AMERICAN MEN...
Who then claim they were "there at the time of signing up" & "didn't really understand about signing up"...... & actually live in Europe...
They are very much in South America & are not in either North America or Europe.......
USE REVERSE IMAGE SEARCH....

A very high percentage of profiles are fakes, that include AI images - I verified this via reverse image lookup. All of the clever messages that flood in feel A.I. generated and sent through some automated system. If they aren't fakes, then dating.com is paying beautiful models from all over the world (especially Ukraine, China, S.America) to keep male customers addicted to flattering nonsense. Love bombing, sexual innuendo, independently wealthy women who are, "only seeking love" or "trying to find a husband" and "don't care what you look like, only that you're sincere."...that kind of BS. Three beautiful "billionaires" told me they were very interested. I've been on other sites and it's pretty common after a good vibe to move directly to cell texting or a free platform like WeChat (esp. China), WhatsApp, Telegram, etc. Not a single "woman" (if they're women at all!) was willing to connect with me outside of dating.com. I'm an average looking man, (not ugly), I'm fit, normal, smart, wealthy, a pretty good communicator and I'm not creepy. But really? Not a single one moved forward?!!! Very suspicious. Just run the other way. If you don't, you'll waste a TON of money and never get a date.

Unrealistic pricing and fake accounts posing as genuine, deliberately designed to lure unsuspecting individuals and drain them of their hard-earned money.

This dating site is full of unreliable and fake person even with verified members. I wasted my over two years times and thousands and thousands dollars in credits talking to verified members who refused to give me their phone numbers, talked outside the dating site, and meet in person even after I spent over one year time with them. Don’t use this dating site to look for serious relationship because you will end up getting disappointed and wasting your time and a lot of money in vain.

I can't help but think this is a scam by actors trying to supplement their income. The one person I felt like "texting" with kept me going well into 3am where I had to pay $43.00 just to read his last comment to me. The next day, he asked me to answer some questions about trust, and after I gave him a thought-provoking answer, I received a message saying that if I wanted to read his reply, I'd have to buy more credits at $43.00. Their pictures look so professional, and they are all so attractive. My suggestion is not to do this one.

Credits system is ridiculous. A conversation cost me $120. Trying to talk to a real person in customer service is impossible.
I Bet most of profiles are fake, they appear to be. I have zero trust that who I talked to was real.
BIG SCAM

I agree with every single review that I have read so far, this site is a fraud, I've been on here for 6 years talking to the same person who claimed he was in love and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, his mom wanted to meet me..... all kinds of now looking back, nonsense, I was so foolish, he never wanted to exchange numbers claiming that he did that once and it didn't work out well for him because the woman kept calling his home all times of the night and day, anyway, each time I'd ask him about coming to meet which should be something he was anxious about ..... after all! he had met the one! hahaha, but he always had an excuse, the first year his brother had an accident the second year it was Covid-19 and he didn't want to expose his then young son to the people in the airport, the third year onward he couldn't leave his restaurant because it was super busy.... at one point, it was based on my not coming to this paid site every single day to text. all red flags which I'm just seeing after the fact. So...after telling me 6 years ago that he had lost his wife five years prior, he once again told me in October 2025 that he just lost his wife 5 years ago, when I called him out on his lies, he started blaming me that I have been lying to him all this time and blocked me, by the way he goes by the name Nader, so if you ever see that name, delete your profile immediately, this site is a real fake, I think all these people are on dating.com payroll, this site milks the westerners. these men on there from Europe claim to be wealthy, yet they're using the site for free. they refuse to even exchange email addresses. OMG, how could I be so stupid? I've spent thousands of dollars with the hopes of a future with this man, only to end up being blocked. We need to bring a class action lawsuit against dating.com to help with even a little compensation for the lies and robbery that we have experienced on their platform. very disappointing.

This site is a total scam!!!! I am embarrassed to say that I spent approx. $30k AUD over 9 months with whom I thought was a real connection. As a safeguard to myself I reached out to the administrators and asked if this account was for real and repeatedly I was was told it was. When it came to the crunch this person whom constantly said he loved and adored me and wanted a real relationship with me was never prepared to move off this site and refused to use a platform like WhatsApp to continue the relationship.
This site is a total scam and should be shut down…total frauds…

I was on this disgusting site for 2 years ( November 2023-November 2025). I’m embarrassed, but if I can help women avoid the shit show I was in, it will be worth the humiliation! I was swept up in relationship's with 2 different men. Not at the same time! The first was Isaac (age 43), from Barcelona, Spain. And the second Paolo Di Marco, (age 43), from Milan, Italy! Both planned a future with me, yet BOTH refused to leave the site to speak elsewhere. Isaac is a popular member, and I finally got him to admit it. He urged me to become a popular member but I politely declined because I didn’t want to talk to 80% of the men who contacted me, and if he truly loved me, he wouldn’t want me to talk to them either. Now I felt he was not fake because we video chatted many times. Although he never spoke in English. But there he was, the same man in the profile pic! I estimated I spent at least $20,000. You think that would have been enough to wake my ass up! But sadly, no! So after 9 months of him asking me to communicate solely through letters, and asking for ridiculous gifts of hearts and strawberries, I broke and told him I was done with him! Then Paolo asked if we could talk! Now, I met Paolo around the time I first signed up, but he didn’t pursue me like the others. We chatted alittle, then he disappeared. But there he was, again, and he was beautiful. And he wrote me poetry, but he too, refused to talk anywhere else. But he was going to come to America and spend time with me this Christmas! He talked about it in detail! Then, I’d move to Italy, and We will live together in bliss by the sea! AND he too video chatted with me several times…and he was the man in the profile. He spoke very broken English. Now these video chats always cut out about 30 second to maybe 60 seconds into the chat! I found that very weird. My “ Chats” with Isaac lasted until I hung up! Now unlike Isaac, Paolo was ok not solely communicating in letters. At the very least it confuses you. Perhaps that’s the intention! Now I consider myself a very educated woman! And I have been absolutely scammed and I am completely admitting it! There’s too many red flags! They are not huge flags, but things just don’t add up! Both Issac and Paolo were on line 24/7, Isaac admitted to using the site for free, but Paolo ( a featured member) denied it! Sometimes I felt like I was talking to different people, he would forget certain details I told him, and he always wanted gifts! He wanted a heart, so I sent a heart, but he wanted the heart that looked like a balloon, that cost twice as many credits! What the hell world was I in?? After 11 months and another $20,000 more, I couldn’t deal with this crap anymore! Another discrepancy is that I had no problem with customer service. They answered all my questions and were never hard to get a hold of. The most ridiculous part of this saga is my bank, for the entire 24 months I was a member, flagged every transaction as fraud! I had to call them and authorize the transaction! Sometimes 2-3 times a month! Wow, what an idiot I was! I’m grateful they did, because that’s the only reason I was able to unsubscribe. I haven’t been charged since I left. I will caution anyone looking for a real connection to stay away from this site. There’s no reason why if you spend a few months at the very least talking to a man who you feel you have a connection with, and has eyes only for you, will not leave that platform and bring your relationship into the real world. I told them both I couldn’t afford $1,000’s of dollars a month just to communicate, yet they didn’t seem to care how stressed out it was making me!!! It’s all FAKE AND A FANTASY LAND! I’m a tough woman, this will not affect me negatively… I will use it as a lesson! Dating.com can kiss my #%^!!!!

I visited with what I thought was a real man for almost 5 months daily. Sincere conversations about spending a future together. It was very expensive, especially visiting everyday and tried to suggest a different way to keep in touch. He said he wanted to but never took action. I did screenshot pictures that he would send me. I did a google image search and this same man came up with an entirely different name than he was using on the dating app. If free users are verified through documents, how did the person I was visiting with have an entirely different name? To be honest, I have been very devastated because I felt like I have lost a best friend. Not to mention the money, for heartbreak and disappointment. I wanted to add that I started visiting with the man in July. On dating.com his name was Massimo and in Instagram and Tik Tok his name is Luiz Carlos Nunes, an actor and dancer. Maybe his pictures got hacked to use on the dating app, but that is concerning that his credentials were used to be a free user. But the point is, I thought I was visiting Massimo and thought he was sincere in our conversations. Not fake and all lies.
