As an experienced wedding celebrant, I’ve crossed paths with many photographers. Some good, some great, some not quite so great. When it came to my own wedding I knew exactly what I was looking for and as soon as I saw Dave’s work, I just knew it had to be him.

He has a natural talent for capturing candid moments and picking the perfect scene. We couldn’t be happier with our photos - they are well framed, colourful and full of fun. But best of all, he’s the kind of guy that you’d want to be at your wedding, even if he wasn’t the photographer. All our guests adored him and he got the best out of everyone, including the children on what was a swelteringly hot day.

Dave went above and beyond to make sure he got the right shots and his communication before and after the event was excellent. I couldn’t recommend him more highly - if you’re considering booking him, don’t hesitate - snap him up quickly!

Dave and Mary are the ultimate duo that everyone NEEDS as their wedding photographers.
Picking our photographer was something we struggled with but having come across Dave’s website (thanks Facebook ads) we knew he was the right choice for us. The initial call, to the pre-meet to the wedding day - Dave (and Mary and Leo!) were fantastic. It was an easy pick once we’d found him.
Easy going, full of life and know what they’re doing. Dave has an understated sales technique that isn’t rammed in your face but fills you with confidence to capture your day perfectly.. and with no stress. I mean, not even my closest clicked on when the nerves kicked in, but Dave did! 😂
Photos delivered quickly via the website and they are absolutely beautiful.
Our advice? Book both Dave AND Mary. They won’t disappoint. It’s a really simple choice.

Dave was adventurous enough to respond to our query for a wedding photographer. He is truly gifted and has a natural ability to capture incredible photos in all types of lighting conditions and environments. He has an eye for spectacular settings and the pictures he took are simply stunning. Him and Mary are so friendly and blended seamlessly with the guests which allowed them to capture natural pictures of the day and evening fun. We were so lucky to have found him and can’t recommend him enough! In our opinion he is the best there is!

Dave was our wedding photographer recently. There will never be enough words to truly describe just how wonderful our experience with Dave has been, right from our very first phone call we knew we had made the right decision. Dave has gone above and beyond for our wedding shoot and kept in regular contact throughout, which was really reassuring. He spent so much extra time picking spots for the best photographs and took us out to do a trial run pre-wedding. Dave creates such a wonderful atmosphere to be in which is what you need when taking professional photos as he just makes you feel so relaxed and calm. The quality of the final photos are beyond comparison, his style of photos are natural and light which is so refreshing after seeing other photographers whith such heavily edited photos, the attention to detail is beyond perfect! Our wedding photos were edited and uploaded to our online gallery within a matter of days, during which Dave kept us updated with the editing and uploading progress. There really is no other photographer that will tick all of your boxes I can assure you! Pick Dave Burgess Photography you will not be disappointed!

I can not express how amazing Dave was capturing our wedding day. He went above and beyond. I will definitely be using Daves service again for any special events. He was everywhere and blended in wonderfully. With any special event they go by in such a flash and you can't always be everywhere at once but when we got our photographs back I was amazed to be able to see our wedding day from so many different angles. All our family and friends also expressed how great he was. If you are looking for someone to capture your special events Dave your man.

Dave is very deserving of a 5* review. He kept me informed prior to the appointment and throughout the day while he worked through a checklist of shots that were required by the company I work for. He was incredibly patient and made the whole day very natural and comfortable. I was really impressed by Dave’s work, I felt he had a really good eye for adjustments to make the pictures better with small tweaks and positioning. I would highly recommend Dave for any photography genres, family, weddings, pets or corporate shoots as he covered most of these during the time he spent working with me.

Dave’s work and photos are of a very high standard, over and above other photographers I have used in the past.

David was so dedicated to getting the perfect shot of my children when we did a natural family shoot. None of the shots were forced and we all had a great time. David has a vast knowledge on what he wants to achieve which really shines through. Highly recommend.
