Website seems decent enough. Can't read the menu properly because the background is transparent but isn't a major problem. Site doesn't lag at all and you seem to have all the information needed to make an informed decision.

I have taken a look at Dave’s doors and website as I have been looking to purchase a door for my new property. Some websites have been so difficult to use when looking for composite doors but I have found this one clear and easy to navigate! Thank you

I bought this some time ago and it’s doing well. It looks very good and, thanks to the skill of the carpenter I used, it hangs well too. My only concern was the glass insert as, although I was informed this could be changed on the Chat, it proved very challenging for my carpenter who really struggled to remove it so he could insert one I wanted. But he did it and it looks fine.

Bad correspondence and rubbish delivery…
Bad correspondence and rubbish delivery that was out soursed to another company. Door turned up 3 months late and when i approached the online help service they refused a refund. Plus sude was the door did tuen up and was not to bad on the quality side. Although It was 5mm to large on all four sides for the frame that was supplied.

We have suffered some heavy supply and manufacturing delays during this period while we wait on other countries to recover and catch up in the industry. We are happy however to hear you were happy with the quality of your door! All external doors are supplied with an installation allowance so that the door can be 'fitted' to the opening and achieve a quality, snug fit into the frame. All the best!

I would never use them again.
I ordered an external oak door in September 2021 and my carpenter fitted it. The door warps in the summer which leaves a gap at the top and contracts in the winter. It is not solid oak and is only a thin amount of oak covering whatever they fill it with. When I rang up to complain they said it must be the way it was fitted and there was nothing they could do about it. I would never use them again.

It sounds that you have purchased an engineered oak door which are manufactured to prevent any shrinkage or warping like you would expect from a traditional door. These doors are not 'filled' but are solid timber throughout, manufacutured in a way as to prevent the described issues you describe, so this certainly doesn't sound like this product is performing correctly or as intended. As long as a full barrier seal is applied to seal it from any moisture uptake the doors structure will be stable and stay flat.
