Daymans DIY is a family run DIY and hardware store which has been based in the heart of Leicester since 1928. Our business has been handed down through generations of our family. Founded by William Edward Dayman in 1928 on the same road that we are based today. The shop is currently ran by Steve Dayman (3rd generation) & son Adam Dayman (4th generation). Excellent personal customer service is at the heart of our business and we always have the kettle on and a hot cup of tea for anyone who comes to our store. Whether its to have a brew whilst they wait for their order or to have a browse around the shop. Many of our customers have become friends over the years and we know them by name as they know us. Our shop is an Aladdin's cave of DIY and hardware including: Tools, Paint, Electrical, Building Materials, Plumbing, Garden Materials and more. We currently have over 5000 products on our website which is constantly growing. Our website and customer service are managed solely in house to offer the best service possible. We offer a number of bespoke services such as bespoke builds and free timber cutting.

Great company.
Was looking for specific bulbs which proved impossible to get. Phoned me and offered alternative but I asked that they try to source specific item which they did to no avail. Called again and offered alternative which were despatched shortly after. Packaged well. 5 star service

Friendly and professional service
I emailed them about a product I needed cut by measure. The response was quick. I even received advice about delivery and how it would be more cost effective if I bought a few less items. Friendly and great service. I reccomend them.
