DBI Designs are a business that I can not compliment enough. Darren was extremely helpful throughout the entire piece of work from design to post build. Perfect design and work what really sets Darren apart from others is his knowledge, professionalism and expert advice. He was extremely helpful and was more than happy to assist with any questions that I had which really made the process smooth for us as a customer. Darren came to do our architectural drawings for our extension. We had a couple of chats and quotes from others but Darren was super friendly and cost effective for the size of our build. He was great at answering questions and did the drawings quickly, and they got through planning no problem. We’ve never gone through this process before so he was really helpful in answering our questions, great experience all around. Highly recommend! Thank you Darren!

Darren made the experience of planning our extension very straightforward and efficient, providing advice and guidance on design, working with the builder and local planning to ensure the build met with all expectations.

We’ve been working with Darren during our entire extension process.

He first came out to measure up and took his time getting all the details he needed.

Within a few days, we had our drawings which looked great. So many builders who we asked for quotes commented on how good the drawings were as they were really clear and showed exactly what was needed.

We had a couple of tweaks to the plans which Darren was more than happy to do. He also promptly answered any questions we had and has been a great help guiding us through the structural calcs and building control processes.

We couldn’t recommend Darren enough to anyone needing architectural drawings.

Darren provided a great service. His design was flexible and he made several changes along the way to cater for our evolving requirement. Provided lots of great expertise and really easy to deal with providing a friendly and professional service at a good price. Even better, he likes cats 🤣

From the initial contact, Darren put us at total ease, he answered all our questions and did a very detailed plan for our annexe and back of the house extension. Darren shared his knowledge and helped us design both plans. We are very happy and would definitely recommend his services.

Excellent service from Darren. Very patient and accomodating with us changing designs. We also had trouble with the first builders and he was more than happy to help in pointing out technical errors that they had made. Would recommend and use again

We used Darren for our plans for a two storey extension and back extension. His communication was great , answering questions whenever we asked even if they were the same questions over. He gave great professional advice to assist with our ideas and designs to maximise our build and produced the plans In a timely manner at a reasonable cost. I would certainly recommend him for your projects.

We instructed Dan to do our building regs drawings, he was professional and helpful at all times and answered questions accurately that helped us when we had some building and neighbour issues.

Main thing I can say is if you need some professional drawings dbidesignltd will not disappoint.

Even if you are doing a renovation that doesn’t require drawings- I would recommend getting them. It makes it so clear to your builder what you want and getting it priced up for costs.

When I first started thinking about renovating our house a builder (that we didn’t use ) actually recommended him.

I was a bit reluctant to ask him round as I didn’t know the builder and didn’t know what Darren would be like.

He spent a good time at our house for our initial meeting / measuring up the existing house. I felt very at ease, like he really knew our vision.

We corresponded via email which was just perfect, as we could response in our own time till we got the final drawings we were 100% happy with.

We also went with them for our planning application which was relatively easy for us and stress free.

We loved them that much that I recommended and they were used by a close friend and my sister for their jobs.

We contacted Darren ahead of a house move as we knew we wanted to draw up plans for a renovation so we could get builders on board quickly. Darren came round 2 days after we moved in and we explained what our 'vision' was and he was able to interpret our ideas and a week later submitted a couple of different scenarios to us. Once we saw the designs we decided to go with his recommendations - we made several tweaks along the way and nothing was too much trouble. He responded promptly in each instance and delivered ahead of agreed dates. Darren checked in and only billed us when we were happy with the service.
Getting Darren on board early gave us a great head start and we have already completed stage 1 of the renovations and it looks exactly like his plan.

Darren is an expert in his field and took us through the whole process from start to finish. He was always professional and available if we had any questions and regularly kept in contact through the whole process. He came up with some great design ideas as well. I would personally highly recommend him.
