Poor technology and no customer support.
I do not recommend Dcent as it has many issues. The biometrics are not that great and doesnt always work. I wanted to swap tokens, when I executed the trade I was shorted 465 tokens. I reached out to Dcent and all they could say was "the transaction was completed successfully" and I was instructed to reach out to their 3rd party providers to assist. I have supporting documents so I reached out to Changelly and they blamed it on Dcent and Dcent blamed it on Changelly. Nobody cares and you are on your own. I also have transferred a token to my Dcent wallet that they say is supported but, to get it off the wallet there are gas fees and I still cant figure out how to get those tokens out of the wallet. If you decide to use Dcent be very careful and before making transactions, take screen shots, there is risk using a Dcent wallet.

For swap services, transactions are processed through third-party providers, and while the transaction itself may be completed successfully on the blockchain, we understand that this does not address your concerns about the final amount received. Regarding the token transfer and withdrawal issue, some tokens require the appropriate network coin to pay gas fees before they can be moved. However, we understand that the process can be confusing depending on the token and network involved.

I thought it would be safer to hold my XRP on your wallet, but your instructions on how to transfer from Coinbase into the wallet are woefully confusing. I have tried several times and only ended up losing some of my XRP. Now it just sits in a drawer, empty. Thanks.

They dcent uses a 3rd party to swap, or exchange my crypto. The transaction failed and I lose a few thousand lcx coins. This is ridiculous. I pay these people to protect my hard earned money, we are forced to use ethereum for fees. What if I don't desire to have eth in my portfolio!

Ridiculous purchase
I tried to complete my purchase and it was declined. I had to approve it through my bank. I tried to purchase again after the approval and was still declined. I had to transfer the money from my bank (same bank and same card) to PayPal in order to complete the transaction. 3 attempts before success. That is absolutely ridiculous. I considered just buying a different wallet. It should never be this hard to give someone money.

We understand how inconvenient it must have been to go through multiple declined attempts, even after approving the transaction with your bank, and needing to use PayPal to finally complete the purchase. We agree that the process should be much smoother.
In many cases, payment failures like this are caused by bank or card restrictions. For example, some banks block overseas transactions by default, or require additional verification such as 3D Secure (OTP or app approval). Company-issued cards can also be restricted for online purchases. Even after approval, these settings can sometimes still prevent the transaction from going through.
