DCM tyres of Blandford very reliable company
Because I work with special needs children I need reliable tyres and checks therefore.
I Allways go to DCM Blandford wether I just need a check on the air or tread or new tyres I find all the staff there very helpful and obliging and they always give good information they are very responsive to what they do plus they are very polite l would not go anywhere else.

I have used DCM for a number of years but feel let down on this occasion. Having telephoned in the morning to try to make an appointment I was not given one although I said I would arrive at 3 pm. The telephone person only looked to see if the correct tyres were in stock at my insistence. The waiting area did not feel Covid safe but that is another issue. Having waited, mostly standing outside, for quite a while I was eventually told I only needed a repair and it had already been done. This was done without consultation - normally someone would examine the tyres and then offer options.. I had gone there prepared to buy two new tyres as my spare needed replacing. By the next morning the tyre would only hold 0.45 BAR. I rang and asked if I could have the mobile tyre service as I had already been very inconvenienced but was told it was unavailable. Fair enough but when I asked for a refund on the £24 I had paid for the useless repair I was told they would have to look into it. No call back, no offer of a discount on a new tyre or the £24 off a new tyre. I appreciate that it is very unusual for a repair to fail but I was actually very surprised they did it in the first place. If it is so unusual that a repair fails they could at least have tried a bit harder to put it right. I shall no-longer recommend this company.

Engine light
Had a engine light on and left my obd2 in friends car who was out of town, really wanted to know what was the engine light about.
They scanned the codes and cleared them like in 5 mins
and charged me £60
Anybody who has any knowledge about cars know you can buy cheap obd2 for like £10 and clear codes all day long.

Paul, I don’t understand the issue, we would have explained the cost of £60 for an advanced diagnostics before doing so. Is the issue the pre explained cost or the fact you left your code clearing tool in your friends car?
