The parts were special order direct to the customer from Europe as explained to the customer before he ordered via our website, and they were delivered to the customer within the time scale that had been advised to him. The customer refused delivery for reasons unknown (he said first it was damaged but the couriers confirmed there was no damage, then it came too late so he brought something else) resulting in them being returned to Europe. The customer did not contact us regarding the fact he rejected the delivery, but we contacted him to find out if there was a problem we could help with and explained that as he rejected the delivery, it would now go back to Europe and have to go through customs again, and that international transit times on rejected deliveries are very slow with the couriers and that this is entirely outside of our control but we would process his refund once it arrived back. Had the customer contacted us to arrange a return if he did not wish to keep the kit for any reason, this would have been sorted within a matter of days. Advice to any other customers is please do not reject a delivery without prior notification as whether something is damaged or you just wish to cancel the order last minute, contact us and we can arrange as necessary to resolve any issues. Once a delivery is rejected and back in the hands of the courier, we are unable to do anything until it arrives back, and this can, particularly for shipments from overseas, take a long time.
