In 2024 I went ‘home’ from Australia to visit family in Scotland. My son and I visited Dundee, and called in at your office- a good excuse to renew my subscription! We were made so very welcome and taken around to have a good look at the whole place. This was such a friendly gesture- absolutely an unexpected kindness and so very much appreciated.
As a wee girl - long ago as I am now 86- in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, I used to enjoy The Broons and your Comics.
Your publications are so much entwined with Scottish Culture.

Your texts and magazines are so special and good for everyone.

getting my magazine regularly, especially if I am away on holiday. Friendly helpful staff .Great stories and diverse articles.

The magazine I receive is good value and the content is good.

However, there have been several occasions when I have not received the magazine. Hence my score.

Great subscription service, magazine arrives reliably and content is balanced and interesting

Staff responding to 'phone enquiries are friendly and efficient and their patience is appreciated.

The magazine is for my mother and she looks forward to it arriving every week. We both enjoy the stories, Riverside in particular, but also the information pages, (Think Green be Green, Health and Well being, Brainteasers).
The only thing we are disappointed with is the editing of the stories, there are often spelling mistakes, incorrect names of characters or wrong sex given, i.e. he instead of she. Simple mistakes that should have been picked up when proof reading!

I find that your magazine is a riveting read

Magazine delivery consistently good. Initial problem with book delivery sorted efficiently by customer service and now on track with subscription extended to compensate.

Not received any books for last 2 weeks

i have always liked command comics and continue to maintain the direct debit.
the only problem i have is consistency of receiving them in the post on a regular basis. i put this down to the fact that i live in Asia and there could be any number of reasons for aforesaid ad hoc delivery; they always arrive in the end and i do NOT blame DC for this

The books arrived on time and in mint condition. Easy to set.up and pay monthly. Every one is.different and are.just as good as the ones I read 40.years.ago. I must for.any military enthusiasts . Cannot wait for.my next batch.

It has lots of interest on many subjects The familiar articles are interesting including visiting places around the UK. With the stories it is a magazine that lasts a week and even longer and is good value.

Peoples Fried just keeps giving,week after week it pops through my letter box with excellent fiction ( I always read the serials first) great recipes, craft ideas, health awareness and so much more.

Product was delivered no problem

Good delivery service and information about changes are timely and clear.

I have had to cancel the subscription to my mum because she is having difficulty reading them all - this was very easy to do.

Range of articles and stories from different time periods
Would be good if a children’s section was reintroduced. Reading children’s section was how I started to read the “People’s Friend “.
Cover of magazine could be improved. Comes off easily and is prone to tearing particularly when older weaker hands are reading the magazine. At 96 year’s old my mother who suffers from dementia amazes the staff in her care home by still being able to read the stories in the “People’s Friend “.
