I have subscribed to The Peoples Friend Special for a number of years, a couple of times the magazine has been lost in the post but replaced without any trouble when I contacted customer service.

A reader of over 40 tears
Always for last 40 years read your magazine. But just lately keep finding lots of errors. Have you sacked your proof reader. As an ex typing teacher and secretary I hate seeing errors like in your magazine these days. Not so keen on the really old fashioned stories either but realise you have to suit everyone .

A proper cover to cover read
Love the magazine arriving monthly. Always full of interesting features that are easy to read but very informative. A good spread across interests (food, hiking & mountaineering, equipment reviews, cultural highlights & interviews). I read them it cover to cover. Including most of the adverts.

Great weekly magazine
Love the People's Friend magazine. Great stories and other articles. Appeals to all ages and both men and women. I have a subscription for both the weekly magazine and the specials which come out every 3 weeks. This saves quite a bit of money, and they arrive by post before they hit the shop shelves.

The main advantage of 'The People's Friend' over other magazines is its delivery of a super range of good quality stories! Their encouragement of new writers is obviously helping. Its regular features are interesting, both homely and wide ranging. Its other features are always topical and educational. I never read this magazine without learning something new. This magazine is a very special read!
