Very disappointed with the quality and return process
I had a really disappointing experience with BuddhaStoneShop. The items I received looked completely different from what was shown on the website. The materials also did not match the descriptions at all.
Out of the 5 products I ordered, 3 didn’t even have a BuddhaStone label inside — instead, they had tags from some random Chinese company, which made the whole purchase feel unreliable and misleading.
Some clothing pieces were described as cotton in the shop, but they are obviously made of synthetic fabric. Even worse, the garments had no material information label at all, so there was no way to verify what they were actually made from.
When I tried to return the order, customer service told me that I could only return the items if they were faulty. This is not acceptable under EU consumer rights, which allow returns within a certain period. After I explained this, they did not offer a proper return solution but instead tried to persuade me with partial refunds: first 10%, then 20%, then 30%.
I still wanted to return the products, but they informed me that the return shipping would have to go directly to China. The cost of shipping would have left me with barely more than the 30% refund, so I eventually accepted the partial refund instead.
Overall, the whole experience was frustrating, misleading, and very disappointing. I would not recommend ordering from this shop.
