complaint

I have to complain, how can it be that the SNCF employees refuse to speak English. I don't understand the attitude that everyone at a Main Train station is expected to speak French. I know a few phrases but I couldn't find the tracks for the international trains at Gare du Nord. I was very desperate and asked an employee for help, he said "non" and turned away. He had previously helped a French-speaking person to find the way to her train.
I ended up walking around for 45 minutes because none of the staff were willing or able to help me. Please hire people who speak English and who are really willing to help, especially at stations with international customers. And not just at a remote counter.

turn off the lights

Please care about the electricity and turn off the lights in the train.
The light is not really necessary, especially in the morning and during the day. And in the evening everyone wants to sleep.

THE WORST

THE WORST. Train 60mins late at Bellegarde. No alternatives, missed last connection (obviously), had to pay for taxi, then uber, and additional train tickets.

Better way to travel.

I have been travelling since 2009 with SNCF and i've never got disappointed with luggages and neighbour passengers. Everytime i travel, i travel like i want to. There is no other better way to travel than with SNCF. People are friendly and are willing to help you and Trains are always on time. :)

Disappointed: the TER promotion on Sept 19/20 not on your site

Last weekend was a Burgundy promotion that would have gotten us around Burgundy for 5€ for a day.
This was neither visible from your website, not on your vending machines!!! and not from your app.
We spent about 100€ that day on tickets between Dijon and Macon. This is simply unacceptable. Why serving online and not being up to date on promotions?
Please get yourself into the 21st century!

Easy way to book TGV tickets

For already the 2nd time we booked our TGV tickets with Voyages SNCF and each time the trip went smooth - even with bikes! I'd definitely do it again.
Only the re-access of the ticket is not so straight forward, especially, if you book on the laptop at home and want to access your booking on the smartphone.

Too complicated....

While I like the offers and prices of the website, I find the website FAR TOO COMPLICATED TO USE. Users don't care nor necessarily undertand the differences between your services "train", "thalys", "tgv", orther "tgvs", ouiouibus or other.... we just want to receive travel options. It is over cumbersome to have to look for travel options in all the different tabs.
The webside should propose all possible options you handle in your systems, with the different prices and times, for us to chose accordigly and not the other way around.
