Having once been a young boy in awe of the piles of fascinating Militaria at their (now old) store in Arundel, Sussex, I knew I wanted to use this business when I was old enough, now some 20+ years later I’ve been a regular customer for the past 12 or so years and been happy with every single purchase I’ve made and the experience I’ve had with each and every purchase. Arundel Militaria and their dedicated staff really know how to look after their customers, and even better they really know their stuff when it comes to Deacs! I really appreciate the help, advice and time they’ve given me over the years and will remain a dedicated customer for many years to come. Thank you very much!

I found Arundel Militaria on a google search and saw that they had quite a few old spec deactivated guns. The Rifle I Picked was a 1913 Swedish Mauser m/96 deactivated in 1987.

It arrived well packed and the staff will you help to organize the day when you can receive the rifle.

However, there was a slight issue with a few things that need to be with the rifle not being sent but they informed me quickly and sent the bits on special delivery. This is where some issues crept in and the quality of the company I was dealing with really shined through. Royal Mail have been messing the parcel about and haven’t really been very informative. When I let Tim at Arundel know, he spent an hour on the phone with Royal Mail resolving the issues. Furthermore before I purchased the rifle, he told me all the info I need and answered all the questions I threw at him. Absolute Top Bloke!

As for the rifle itself, it’s absolutely perfect and in truly incredible condition for something that’s 112 years old! Couldn’t have asked for a better first gun.

If you’re in the market for some old guns, live or deactivated, Arundel Militaria is Brilliant!

I got myself an M38 from Arundel, got a good deal and it was at my door within 48 hours. Great service and I'll be ordering from them again.

Where to start with Arundel Militaria, first of all the website is clear and easy to navigate, the listings are very detailed and pictures of items are spot on, even down to finer details in the descriptions so you know exactly what your getting!

Secondly, Arundel always seem to have a good incoming stock of new items and I’m frequently finding myself visiting their site to have a browse!

Lastly, I have just placed an order in the last couple of days. Tim contacted me via email to offer his assistance in completing the order I was in the process of making, Tim was very happy to help and answered the questions I had!

I very much look forward to receiving my order and will be sure to come back again!

I've bought all of my deactivated weapons from Arundel Militaria. My experiences have always been positive. I'd say what sets them apart from other companies is their willingness to share information with you. I've called on occasions to enquire about an item and have subsequently learned more information about what I was intending to purchase and more. I've felt like having the conversations has enabled me to build a rapport and in return I've gained faith and trust which is important when buying historical items. Listings also provide useful descriptions, enabling you to make more informed decisions. Delivery has been swift and packaging has always been decent, protecting the items being delivered. I've purchased several militaria items now and it's my first place to check what's in stock when I'm interested in a deactivated gun. The only downside is there are often too many things I'd like to purchase which my bank account won't always allow me to get 😀. There are good people working at Arundel and they have my recommendation.

The German metal item with slidy-thing (made by an occupied Belgian factory in the 1940’s) was delivered swiftly and in better condition than described. The understanding chaps at Arundel knew I was unable to pay from the train I was on and held the item for me before others snapped it up. Customer service at its highest, with top quality items. Highly recommended.
