Very friendly and efficient service without any of the sales push. Estimator was really helpful and discussed all options.Fitting of wardrobe doors and changing drawer fronts was carried out by a courteous fitter who left everything clean and tidy. Very pleased with the overall results and would definitely use Deanes again.

From start to finish, the service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble & when I changed the colour of doors at last minute, they were really good about it. The fitter turned up on time, was really friendly & helpful & finished a day early. The quality was excellent

I’m disappointed by this response, which attempts to shift responsibility rather than acknowledge the customer experience.

The contact number provided was temporary, as I had just returned to the UK — this was clearly stated in the summary of works / notes provided at the time of booking. Had this information been properly read, this would have been understood. The email address provided was valid at the time of booking.

More importantly, the online booking system allowed and confirmed a New Year’s Day appointment, with no indication that the business was closed. If appointments cannot be honoured on bank holidays, the system should prevent bookings on those dates.

Regarding service area: the company’s own website states that my location is covered (see their London service page). If this is not accurate, then the website and booking system are misleading.

I also do not accept the suggestion that this was simply a “misunderstanding.” On the same day, I had four other companies attend without issue — including another bedroom company, a kitchen company, a conservatory company, and a landscaper. This strongly suggests that attendance on that date was entirely feasible.

In my opinion, no one attended because the appointment was not prioritised. This review reflects my genuine experience and will not be removed.

The company has since responded claiming they tried to contact me because they were not open on the day I booked. However, their own online booking system allowed me to select and confirm that date, with no warning that appointments were unavailable.

They have also stated that I am “out of area,” yet their website explicitly lists my location as covered (see their London page). If this is incorrect, then their website information and booking system are misleading.

This does not change the original issue: an appointment was accepted and confirmed, and no one attended or communicated in advance. The responsibility for this sits entirely with the company.

Booked a home design visit weeks in advance and took time off to be available, only for no one to turn up. No call, no message, no explanation.

I had another fitted furniture company visit as planned, and they were professional, on time, and reliable — I ended up ordering several rooms with them instead. This company’s lack of basic professionalism cost them a substantial order.

As others have observed I'm delighted to confirm the high standards of design, fitting and customer service provided by Deanes. We initially had a fitted double wardrobe and over bed storage with bedside drawer units. That made a huge difference in our newly purchased detached bungalow where space is at a premium. We then followed up some time later with a media wall in our lounge incorporating a smart electric fire, glass shelving and downlighting. We were carefully listened to at every stage of the design and fitting to achieve exactly what we wanted and the after sales service has been truly amazing. I can thoroughly recommend Deanes if you are looking for quality bespoke fitted furniture.

The whole experience of planning and fitting my Media Wall from start to finish was seamless. All works carried out to a high standard within the timeframe. If you’re looking for a very professional and knowledgeable business to deliver a detailed experience look no further than Deanes. Deanes was recommended to me by a friend. I downloaded brochures and almost immediately received a text from Dominic asking if he could help. I replied that I was interested in having understairs storage consisting of 3 pull out drawers and a wardrobe but there were no examples of this type of storage in their brochures. Dominic said they don't usually do understairs storage but after speaking with the factory said they could provide what I wanted. I initially contacted Deanes on 23rd Feb and the work was completed on 5th July which I suppose isn't unreasonable as they are a small family firm and the storage is bespoke. There were a few issues with installation and it took 4 visits for the fitters to successfully finish the job. My only concern with the process was how payment was expected: 50% deposit on order, 45% prior to installation and 5% on completion. I felt the large up front payment was unfair on the client should the job be unsatisfactory. Fortunately, I am pleased with the end result and finally being able to make better use of what was fairly inaccessible space. All staff and fitters were polite and helpful and I would recommend Deanes.

We had Deanes fit two fitted wardrobes in our bedroom this month. The price was competitive, the choices were very good. Communication was good. Our fitter Rob was excellent as was the apprentice we had with Rob on day two. The final product is fantastic. We are extremely pleased.

I contacted Deanes by phone and by email sending photos of our job as requested, I am still waiting for a reply from them.

From the start everyone we spoke to at Deanes gave us straight positive answers to all questions. Our room has odd shaped ceilings but it was no problem to Deanes, we made many changes throughout from start to finish and found them very easy to deal with. The fitter Rafal was brilliant with great attention to detail and made a very professional job. It was nice at first meeting to be able to discuss prices without someone saying that they have to come out to measure up before pricing like so many other companies.

The service was great from start to finish. They spent time listening and provided all the information we needed. The fitter was great, worked fast and left no mess. The workmanship is great.

We had our wardrobe fitted just before Christmas and Deane's have done a fantastic job, it looks better than we had hoped. Sam, the fitter, was with us for two days and was very hard working and also very tidy. We feel that the workmanship is high quality and are pleased to have chosen Deane's.
