I ordered Slippers for my wife as part…The slippers may be great But dont use use DHL or USPS

I ordered Slippers for my wife as part of an anniversary gift, she had a pair of these slippers for years and started falling apart, so thought I would get her a new pair of the same slippers from the company. All was good (even thoe I didn't know why it took eleven days to get from the west coast to NC) DHL was the primary carrier then they transferred it to the USPS who said they delivered them to my front door a day earlier. Bad news is if they delivered them, it was not to my house and I have security cameras to prove it. Now the company says I have to wait 28 days to file a claim, that’s crazy and now I'm going to contact my CC company and dispute the charge until the slippers are delivered.

Dishonest Company.......False Advertising

I ordered 6 pairs of men's house shoes directly from their web site. $112.00 It's advertised all over the site free shipping on anything over $45.00 no promo code needed. I went to check out and it added $19.95 shipping. There was no where to change it or would it let me take it off. Their system put it on there. I thought that at final check out that it would minus it off but it didn't. I called the next day to tell them that they had charged me shipping and I wanted it refunded back to my credit card. The person in customer service said that it would have to be reviewed and then it would be credited back. I waited about 5 days and did not see any refund or hear anything back. I called customer service back and was told that I had choose that shipping option. I told them there was no choice to make that the system added it on and would not take it off. I asked for a refund again. I waited another day with no response of any kind. I called customer service again and was told the same thing that I choose that option and that they had sent out and email. I have searched up and down and in all the folders for any email response and there is none. I told customer service to stop telling me that I choose that option. I did not! One reason I purchased the shoes was because of free shipping. I told customer service why would I choose $19.95 shipping when it says FREE!!! There is no difference in arrival time for the purchase. They want you to buy, and promise free shipping until it is over a certain amount or weight then they add on shipping . They do not honor what they advertise. They are dishonest, still have not heard back from them, and their customer service is horrible. If a company can not stand by their word then there is no use doing business with that company again. They are a bunch of dishonest crooks that do not care about their customers or apparently their business either. A business is just as good as their word and theirs is no good! BEWARE! FALSE ADVERTISING! CROOKS

Incompetent Handling of Misdirected Order

This is for Costco Next Dearfoam subsidiary. Perhaps the main Dearfoam company can help with this problem.

Placed an order and the mailing address mutated into half the correct address and half the return address. I called.and immediately corrected the mailing address. They told me they couldn't cancel the order but that they would be able to correct the mailing address. Two days later I received notice that the shoes have been sent to the nonexistent address. I email them and again ask them to either resend to the correct address or cancel the order. They told me that they couldn't do either but that I should call the postoffice and have them send it to correct address. This is impossible to do and my address is not on the package, theirs is. I will have to contact the charge card company and block it from there.

Addendum - they refunded the money on the last day before the credit card was going to finalize the return. I think management at Dearfoams is deliberately incompetent.

They don’t do exchanges

I ordered a size 7 slipper from them. I cannot wear them. They are smaller than my size 6 uggs. I checked to see about an exchange and they don’t do exchanges. Isn’t that great for a shoe company. I purchased 2 pair on sale with free shipping and would have to return 1 pair and re purchase another pair which would make my order ineligible for the free shipping. I guess I am just stuck with a pair of slippers that I can’t wear.

Poor quality product

Got a pair of these as a present for Christmas (from Costco) lasted about 3 months worn inside and then developed a large hole in the sole and the elastic on the top began to fail. I’m not using them excessively, I’m a normal weight (24 BMI), I don’t drG my feet, no justifiable reason for them failing so soon other than poor design/construction.

Birthday present disappointment.

I was bought a pair in UK for my birthday last year(I think they may have been bought at Costco UK).
I started to wear them only this week, only indoors.
Within a couple of days I was noticing small bits of black plastic on my carpets. Today after more similar occasions, I checked the slippers & found they had deteriorated in both their construction & material of the soles. I looked online for their website & found international customers are referred to their shipping agent :- GlobalShopex. I contacted them only to be referred back to same Dearfoams link, which again asked me to contact GlobalShopex. So I'll most likely end up like the fabled Oozlum bird ,going round in circles to its ultimate end ! What a pair of Buckpassers! I don't wonder they have such poor reviews & so much availability of their footwear in UK. Obviously people just want shut of them !
There is no way at all of contacting this company ,other than expensive phone calls to USA.
Perhaps a call to UK Trading Standards might elicit a response.

I’m being generous…

I’m being generous giving them even one star! Bought my husband a pair of Dearfoams men’s leather, shearling lined, moccasins with the indoor/outdoor soles. As they don’t come in half sizes, I had to buy the next size up. Christmas morning he put them on & wore them around the house. The next morning he said they felt ok, but the right one seemed a little loose. By that afternoon, the right moccasin had come apart! The leather lacing holding the top of the moccasin to the bottom had ripped out!! I contacted Dearfoams by phone & email several times, & as of this date, have heard nothing!! I signed up for an account with them when I bought the slippers, but they have no record of it when I try to sign in! And, they only sent a packing slip with a reference number & never sent a receipt showing the order number!!! I really wish I had purchased the moccasin slippers through LLBean like I had in the past, those slippers lasted for years. Lesson learned..
I DO NOT recommend Dearfoams!

Doesn't care about it's customers…

I like Dearfoam slippers and received an email from the company with a 1 day only offer for free shipping on all orders. So I went to their website, found some slippers I liked on sale, and placed my order. Everything went through without a hitch. I soon received a confirmation email showing my order details, and it said I'd get another email when my order shipped. So far, so good. A few days later I saw I had an email from Dearfoams, and thought "Great, they've shipped my slippers!". Instead, what it said was that my order was cancelled. That's it. No explanation. Just cancelled.
So I decided to look on their website, and there they were. The exact same slippers I had ordered, in the same color, the same size, and the same sale price! The only difference was, there wasn't free shipping. Really disappointed.
I immediately replied to their cancellation email, asking them why they cancelled my order if they obviously still have them in stock, and why send me an offer for free shipping if they weren't going to honor it? Never heard back from anyone. No explanation, no sorry, no offer to make it right.
Very poor customer service, and dishonest company.
