Beautiful loafer. Leather and design are superb.
I love the Breeze sandals
I love the Breeze sandals! I originally bought them for a trip to Italy and wore them literally everyday for two weeks. They’re super comfy, no breaking in, and withstood the rougher terrain, beach, and extensive walking I did while on vacation. They are such a beautiful sandal that can be dressed up or down. They elevate simple outfits and the shape is very beautiful on the feet! Loved them so much I bought a second pair just in case they ever discontinue the style
I honestly don't want to ever wear…
I honestly don't want to ever wear another black boot. I first bought these in 2019 and was impressed by how soft the leather was and how it molded to my feet. I live in NYC and I can wear these boots 12+ hours a day. Now that they're getting worn because I wear them so often, I had to get a second pair.
Gorgeous Cade boots!
I just received these today! They are absolutely stunning on. The leather is so soft and the boot feels great. I have a bunion on one foot and a raised toe on the other and while normally a 6.5, the size 7 fits perfectly. Can’t wait to wear them. Customer service was great at helping me with sizing.
The BEST in every way possible!!
This company has mastered how high quality boots should be made and packaged! These do run a half size large but I’m okay with that because I like to wear a thicker sock. These boots are so sharp looking with such a classic silhouette that they will remain timeless throughout wardrobe fads. They have a subtle western flare and can be worn all year round in any season. I’m so obsessed with these already that I’m sure they will be my new “go to boots” for quite awhile. I highly recommend these and this company in general. They have the best costumer service and styles out there!❤️
Dear France have both very good quality…
Dear France have both very good quality of shoes, which you enjoy wearing and also very good customer service, definitely will shop again
wrong sizing
wrong sizing, and wont refund. Want me to keep $500 credit with a store that doesn't have my size.
Lovely goods, exceptional service
I recently purchased a pair of shoes that have completely blown me away with their stunning quality and impeccable fit.
There was a minor glitch with the delivery process, and my order took longer to arrive than anticipated. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer service I received during this time. The customer support was prompt and understanding, keeping me updated on the status of my order. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a positive experience, and in the end, it all turned out just fine.
Poor quality and disappointing customer service
I loved my sandals when I received them, they are gorgeous. However, after one wear, the insole has started to come away from the sole. It looks stitched on, but it is only glued, and it has become unstuck. I found this very disappointing for shoes at this price point which are marketed as high quality and ‘designed to last.’ I emailed customer service and asked for a return and refund; instead, I was told to take the shoes to a cobbler and send the receipt. I find this wholly unsatisfactory. I feel like I fell for a marketing gimmick by believing that Dear Frances makes high quality, durable shoes and I’ve wasted my money.
Not a quality product
I was so disappointed in the quality of two Dear Frances shoes I purchased recently - slides and sandals. The slides were designed with a rigid sole that put pressure on the uppers which were attached with glue rather than stitching. The uppers broke within days. The sandals had a plastic sole that slipped easily on a damp surface (I paid to have decent soles added). In addition, the sling back of the sandals stretched quickly and couldn’t be adjusted (again I paid to have this rectified). Dear Frances market the high quality of their shoes, and price them accordingly, but my experience was very different and sadly an expensive mistake.
Best customer service, beautiful shoes!
Some of the best customer service I’ve had with online purchases. I had to exchange a pair of shoes that were a gift and the way the team arranged it - it couldn’t have gone smoother. That along with the quality, look and feel of the shoes earns Dear Frances the highest rating! Can’t wait to shop the new collection.
Poorly made EXPENSIVE SHOES
Poorly made EXPENSIVE SHOES. Heel and soles started wearing off immediately, after 5 wears im afraid to wear again not to lose all my soles and heels on the street. Contacted customer service just in vain - they recommend to go to shoe repair saying that this is normal for Italian shoes?? After 5 wears? Simply Ridiculous. That is not how quality shoes are made and for this price! Please save your money and beware before investing so much with them.
And they DO NOT show your review unless it is 4 starts and up.
Shoes are beautiful and look luxurious at first. I’ll be happy to share all the damage photos.
I needed to send back my first order…
I needed to send back my first order because of the fact that 39 was a little bit bigger. The team was very helpful with info on where to send my package. They didn’t even waited for the package to arrive and they sent me the right number. Great great experience with the client service, very polite and helpful! I will definitely order again! Thank you!
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Quick response by email and completely satisfactory solution.
Do not order from Dear Frances
Do not order from Dear Frances, their boots are not worth the money. After wearing them once, the heel completely wore down and felt very uncomfortable. I emailed support and they said it was normal, and I should take them to a cobbler. That’s very disappointing given how expensive the boots are and having to pay a cobbler $55 after one wear.
I wrote an honest review on their website and they deleted it. Do not believe their reviews… they will delete anything that is not 5 stars. Terrible company.
Beautiful shoes and great customer service
I recently had an exchange with Dear Frances' customer service. I was truly surprised by their attention and care in communication and delivering long lasting and high quality products. I highly recommend!
Stay away!!!
Let me start by saying I never write reviews and I am a very experienced online shopper, however, my experience with Dear Frances has been horrendous. Absolutely my worst online shopping experience to date.
The shoes I ordered (Leo sandal) were described as being a wide fit but when I received them they were very narrow. I couldn’t even try them on. In general it seems that their shoes run very narrow and are unsuitable for wide feet, people with bunions, unconventional feet, etc. This should be made clearer on their website and I advise anyone who has wide feet to steer well clear of this brand. Additionally, if you are the largest or smallest shoe size don’t buy from this company because their customer support is nothing short of horrendous. Obviously inclusivity is not a priority for this brand.
As I mentioned previously the customer service I received when trying to make a return was awful. Dear Frances clearly do not care about there customers at all. They refused to offer a refund (only store credit) even though the narrow make of their shoes means they don’t even have any shoes that would be suitable for me to exchange for (they even acknowledged this fact themselves). What use is store credit going to be for me if they don’t have any shoes that fit me??? Additionally, customer service have now stopped replying to my emails and their past replies were woefully inadequate stock standard responses - so much so that they caused me to question whether they even read my emails.
All in all I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with Dear Frances. Their customer service has been extremely difficult to deal with, especially given that they are a luxury brand with the prices to match. I highly recommend steering clear of this brand

Delighted
This is the first time I have ordered shoes online and I was convinced I would have to send them back! I bought a pair of cream slides and thought my feet maybe too wide for them but they fit perfectly. Beautifully made - I am delighted and am now a convert and will order more. I spent a day looking around the shops in London to find a nice pair of slides with no luck which is why I ordered online. Will save hours of shopping Thank you!
Such a positive experience dealing with…
Such a positive experience dealing with Dear Frances. I bought the Park Boot and I’m absolutely thrilled with my purchase.
Every detail from communicating about their delivery, how to care for the boots, the beautiful packaging, as well as the fit and craftsmanship of the boots themselves was on point and stylishly done. Slow fashion, delivered with care.
Faulty boots and dreadful customer…
Faulty boots and dreadful customer service.
I was bought a pair of the Park boots as a gift - beautifully soft and comfortable. However, the sole started to come away completely from the boot. I thought this wouldn’t be a problem given the cost of the boot and contacted customer service with pictures and explained I had received as gift.
I gave the name of the person who I’d received the boots from and then said they didn’t have it on record so could not help. For months they kept requesting the same information despite me saying I did not have a different contact. Then they began ignoring my emails.
The most recent email from the Dear Frances days they do not offer a repair service. I would urge anyone who is paying this amount of money on boots that are meant to be an ‘investment’ to think twice - mine have fallen apart and Dear Frances shocking customer service ‘does not repair’.
I imagine the websites reviews are from many of the Influencers gifted the products for free.
