DEATH BY STICKERS ARE THIEVES

I purchased a batch of decals from a company I had never used before. I have purchased thousands of stickers from several companies over the years with zero issue. I waited two months for an order that had never taken longer than two weeks with any of the other companies. I ordered and paid for 4 inch decals. After waiting all that time what I got were decals of very poor quality that were not even 3 inches at their widest point. I reached out to the company, Death by Stickers, owner James Pieri about the issue. I attached pictures demonstrating what I received was clearly not what I paid for. James acknowledged this debt yet now three months later he has made no effort to refund me in any way. I cannot stand fraudsters. Whether he refunds me or not is no longer relevant it is imperative to let others know so he does not have an opportunity to do this to others. I have already begun warning others within our decal community and my small business owner friends to be aware. I will at every opportunity make James earn his theft of my measly $38 to prevent him from repeating it.

Zero customer service presence.

Ordered on January 14th. Its March 4th now. No order. Missed my deadline. Doesn't respond to emails on phone calls. Marked my order delivered when it wasn't. Told me oops. Didn't resolve anything.

Items took over a month to ship

They said my stickers would ship after 10 days. It was almost a month before they shipped. I emailed twice and got canned responses both times about being understaffed, the holidays...blah blah blah. Both of my orders did arrive but we're past when I needed them.
I also found that this company is anti American and promotes a very liberal agenda. I will not be doing business with them again and I help others don't either.

Excellent quality

Excellent quality. It’s a small company. It took a long time for it to ship. The quality of the sticker is excellent. I don’t know any other way to say that.

Read the disclaimer

First off, I read the disclaimer on their website. It stated that it is a small business and not the primary job for the people who run it. It did take a few weeks for the stickers. Like I said though, I expected that.

The stickers were packaged well. The stickers were thicker than I expected. The colors were bright, clear and the print was solid.

The customer service was outstanding. Emails were returned quickly and professionally.

If you need quality stickers, down the road, I highly recommend.

No Product and No Communication

Won’t ever recommend

I ordered a Custom Skateboard on Nov 22. I emailed about it and they said they typically take a bit long than 10 days to create but is processing and will be sent out shortly. Not a problem as I wasn’t in a rush for it and am a small business owner as well. Never received any update so I checked in and was told on Jan 20th my board would be finished and sent out in the next day or two. It is now Jan 23rd (40 business days later) and still haven’t gotten an update. They have also blocked my social accounts now. I do not recommend ordering from this company as they have offered no solution or apology for the massive delays and lack of communication.

Not the greatest business will go…

Recommends you use another company, Website is nice and all the guarantees of service seem great but, it's all false. Not the greatest business will go elsewhere for faster service with a team you can actually call. Orders not completed in time left in the air wonder if and when you will receive the order.

Deathbystickers ignored my order for over a month until a dispute was filed

I was cautious to try Deathbystickers because I saw mixed (mostly bad) reviews, but I decided to give it a try — it was a huge mistake, and I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear.

I ordered 20 custom sticker sheets to give them a try in early August, and the website says that due to “extremely high order volume, all orders can take up to 10 business days.” But my order was “ready to print” in early September (a month later), implying that they had just received my files and put it in their system, without even starting the printing. Near the end of September, I decided to message them on multiple platforms, including social media and email, etc; when I got no response, I had no choice but to file a dispute.

Magically, my order was shipped out the next day after my dispute was filed. When it finally arrived, all the cut lines were wrong, so I couldn’t even use any of them because they never sent a confirmation of the cut lines either. However, I know I sent them the right files because I used a different company after and it came out exactly as I pictured.

I received mail about the dispute because Deathbystickers sent the tracking information and said that they’ve had no prior contact with the customer (me) in regards to requesting a return or refund; that this was the first time they’ve had contact about the order; and that they have a return policy and the customer did not follow it. I’ve tried to contact them at least six different times so this is blatantly a lie, and I will never use this service ever again.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. Paid for an order over 2 months ago. I have never received my order or any communication for me to expect delays or updates on my order. They simply took my money and never sent the products. I have emailed them multiple times, sent them multiple DMs, and also tried to reach them in the shop app. They have completely ignored every attempt at communication with me. They never responded once. I’m a business owner myself and I know what it’s like to experience delays in shipping but one thing you never ever do is completely ignore your clients. At this point it’s starting to feel like they are just ripping me off and never going to send my order. And to top it off, I only had 5 or 6 items in my order. It was small. Less than 200 bucks. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. They sent me a notice saying a shipping label was created a day or two after I placed my order and that’s it. They never actually mailed it. Like I said, they treat their customers like they don’t even exist. They will ignore you. I reached out to several other people that I know that ordered from them as well and they too had similar experiences.

Excellent quality stickers, great customer service, good price, but longer wait

I took advantage of their custom sticker deal. The stickers were high quality and came out really well. The price was really good for the quantity. I sent out a couple emails and both were responded to very quickly and professionally. The only thing I would say is the timeline to receive stickers is longer than similar companies. They do warn you about longer timelines and delivered within the stated timeline, so it wasn't a surprise.

Unreliable Service and Poor Communication – Disappointed with Death by Stickers

I had a frustrating experience with Death by Stickers that I feel compelled to share. I placed an order and paid extra for priority shipping because the stickers were intended for a major event on March 1st. Not only did the order fail to arrive on time, but by March 11th—10 days after the event—they still hadn’t shipped.

When I reached out, they admitted they were behind on orders and offered to refund my expedited shipping fee. While I appreciated that small gesture, it didn’t address the larger issue: the missed opportunity to distribute these stickers at my organization’s 5-year anniversary event, where hundreds of attendees from across the country were present. This was a rare and perfect moment for distribution, and it was completely lost due to their delay.

I expressed that I was still interested in receiving the stickers but requested a partial discount since the primary purpose had passed. Unfortunately, they chose not to reply to this reasonable request and instead refunded my shipping fee without further communication. After waiting several days for a response that never came, I had no choice but to ask them to cancel my order entirely on March 16th. They canceled it promptly but failed to acknowledge or apologize for their lack of follow-through.

As someone who works for a nonprofit, I value cost-conscious decisions and reliable service. While I understand small businesses face challenges, communication and accountability are critical—especially when customers are left empty-handed after paying for expedited services. The lack of response to my request for a discount felt dismissive and unprofessional.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Death by Stickers. If you need timely service or responsive customer support, you may want to look elsewhere.

Purchased order on 2/18 with quoted…

Purchased order on 2/18 with quoted time of 8 days. Then 10, now 15, its been a month still no update. Pretty sure fake site I have attempted calling and email with no response. DO NOT BUY!!!

Good for some things, not so much for others

Death By Stickers is pretty good overall. One of the biggest plusses is their low minimum quantity... as little as 1. Because sometimes you don't want, or need, 150 stickers when 10 or 20 work just fine.

The quality appears to be nice. The stickers are a bit thinner than some other companies, which may or may not affect their longevity.

One big important note is their clear stickers. Where other companies have "mastered the art" of applying a white back for areas you don't want to be see-through, DBS clearly states that the stickers will be clear in their entirety. A bit of a shame because they could make a killing on this clear sticker thing if only they could get their act together.
