Great service And speedy delivery

I have been a regular customer of Dec's Pets and have purchased a variety of natural treats for my large dog over a long period of time. Unfortunately, my recent experience has left me disappointed.

This is also not the first time I have experienced mould issues. Previously, I had a similar problem with beef trachea. Interestingly, I have never had any issues with beef ears, despite purchasing them regularly. This makes me question whether some products are more susceptible to mould and whether customers should be given clearer guidance on how to store them safely.

Most recently, I discovered mould in a bag of natural treats, including lamb feet that had been provided extra as a substitute when beef trachea was unavailable. As a responsible pet owner, I was not comfortable giving any treats from a bag that contained mould, so I had to throw the remaining contents away.

My biggest concern was the lack of information provided regarding storage requirements. I was later informed that natural loose treats should be stored in sealed containers and consumed within a week if not stored correctly. However, I could not find this guidance on the website, nor was it provided with my order. Had this information been clearly communicated, I would have followed it.

I was also disappointed with the communication regarding the complaint. Initially, I was told a refund would be provided, but later I was asked to calculate how many individual treats had been affected. From my perspective, the issue was not the number of mouldy treats but the presence of mould in the bag itself, which made me unwilling to feed any of the contents to my dog.

While I understand that natural products can sometimes present challenges, I believe clearer storage instructions, better product information, and more customer-focused communication would improve the overall experience.

Unfortunately, after this experience, I will be purchasing my dog's treats elsewhere.

You sent the best supplies promptly.
However, DHL messed up the delivery.
The large and heavy box was left on my neighbours (2 doors down) front step. Luckily when he came up to ask me about it my housekeeper was here and brought him back down to get it in her car.
As you know I’ve had several deliveries from you without any bother. I would be very grateful if you would contact DHL about this as I feel that they would pay more attention to their customer. As usual the eir code was clearly marked on the box so their should have been no confusion
