Warning: Unauthorized fees and refusal to close my account

I have been trying to cancel my Deem credit card since 2024. Despite sending multiple emails and making several phone calls to their customer service team, they have ignored my requests and refused to close the account.
I even blocked the card and uninstalled their app, yet in April 2026, they sent me a demand for a 500 AED fee on a card I have never used. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a predatory tactic to extract money from customers who have clearly requested to end their relationship with the bank.
I have notified them that I will not be paying a single penny of these illegitimate fees. I strongly advise everyone to avoid Deem.io. Their lack of transparency and refusal to process account closures is unprofessional and untrustworthy.

Deem finance card 3rd party sales team…

Deem finance card 3rd party sales team promised 500 AED for Joining bonus.
Her name is Myra Jacinda-
when i checked on their website- it is mentioned that joining bonus is applicable when applied on the website.
However, upon her insistence and to achieve her target and upon her commitment to reimburse 500 i agreed to apply the card. Once the card is activated, she started giving excuses and finally stopped responding.

My Bank ADCB has submitted a cheque on…

My Bank ADCB has submitted a cheque on the 31th May to pay the full due balance amount of my deem credit card. 3 days after the cheque is cleared but the amount paid still not reflect in my balance.
They also told me that I need to wait 45 days to get a no liability letter after my card is closed.
This Bank should been taken out of business immediately, I can’t believe that the UAE central Bank still authorize this company to do business in the financial sector

3 complaints, no resolution

My 50 dirhams refund from Amazon showed up in the app but it did not get credited to my balance. I called their customer services but they failed to resolved. I also tried converting my rewards to balance. It gave confirmation that the conversion was successful but it did not actually get credited to my balance. Again I informed their customer service and I was told that it will be resolved on Monday but now it's Friday and it's still not in my balance. Before November 2023 their app couldn't generate previous statement of account so I called their customer service for a copy. I was informed that I will receive it on my email. I didn't.

I don't recommend anyone to use Deem Services, as they are extremely unprofessional in the industry.
If anyone use their services, they will make that person suffer for everything.
