I tried to write a review, but it wasn't published. DDG is great. I wrote more, but if it's not published...
So, I was given the chance to edit the review. Thanks. Here is roughly what I wrote previously:
It is very good that one can try the site without opening an account first to see whether one can work with it. It is very good that there are subscriptions and a free version once one has an account. Knowing myself, I didn't subscribe, not because of cheapness but self-preservation. Once my points are up, I'm forced to stop for a while, with a subscription I'd spent all my time on the site, it's that addictive. There are discussions to make prompts non-accessible - maybe with good reasons, but I think the prompts of others help beginners to hone theirs. Also, the idea of making "likes" anonymous has a good argument, but I don't think that they serve to create "fanclubs" - rather, that they help to find users that think and like what one thinks and likes.

It's a good ~community, pretty chilled, not overly gamified.
AI "art" still in infancy, it's interesting. New features could come faster, video could be more extensive in features, but overall it's pretty good.

Happy New Year! I like this app. I use the free version, which is also very good. It can also be used to create images from other apps. However, I haven't figured out how to use another user's image as inspiration.

Deep Dream Generator is one of the best text-to-AI engines out there. Even when I render images on other sites, I bring them to DDG for that professional touch. I recommend DDG to anyone serious about high-quality renders.

I use DDG since 2016 while it made some transitions. I like that platform because image creation process is relatively easy and not overwhelming technical as on other platforms. There is a variety of different Generators for images and video and the process is relatively consistent between those generators with only a few differences. There is a halfway usable image editor and a relatively good upscaler which needs some time to get halfway manageable.
The platform has a huge social network for presenting and liking each other but with a "trending" section where everything seems to get filtered out that looks a little uncommon. There is some "artistical" and surprising content but you have to dig some time to find it because it seems to kept down and sorted out. Most of the high rated stuff looks extremely pleasing, some of it is great but it is not representative for what is really possible on DDG. If you want to get some LIKES you should have good social networking skills but artistic skills are not so important. So it is not really an artistic platform but it is possible to make some artistic stuff as long as it does'nt get "too extreme". Maybe it seems that this changed a little bit in the last time. we will see…
It also is not easy to decide the "artisticness" of AI content. And who dares to judge about quality? In the end everything is about personal taste.
The great thing about AI is that you may get into a process of inspiration. DDG is a great platform for it.

The service Deep Dream Generator offers is an absolute joy for those who especially, I feel, have a artistic creative heart at their core (others as well, certainly!) and would like to collaborate with AI Deep Dream Generator to create amazing and wonder-FULL works of art.

It's great that one has the ability to consider what percentage to allow for each creation, as this adds even more creative potential, all from just one prompt, and then again additional creativity through descriptions, plus images, either your own or those provided by Deep Dream Generator.

(If my own computer wasn't so old), I could also scale a mountain of creativity by working and playing with their animation and video additions as well. Still, with what I can work with I am certain my creative cravings and potential can be satisfied. I feel like Mickey Mouse with the Magician's hat and magical wand at my fingertips. The resulting images can be any style from artistic whimsy to absolute amazing reality.

Some may wish to have total control over the results, but personally I have found that many times the surprising results are positively, beautifully, wonderfully better than the outline I had in mind. Even when the results have entirely missed the mark now and again, the resulting image can spark another path of creativity to go along with it, such as poetry, or a wee bit of a short story.

It is certainly with gratitude and much appreciation that I visit and engage with the Deep Dream Generator site when I've a moment or more to do so.

Viewing and interacting with other artists and their works (dreams) is also part of the joyful, delightful experience and can be quite inspiring, even have a positive impact on your day. At least this is my experience.

Would I recommend Deep Dream Generator? Absolutely!

The key tools are AIVision, Flux and DaVinci2. When used correctly by an experienced person AIVision crushes DALL-E3, but it is quirky and you will burn a lot of credits trying to get it to work properly. Flux is the same pretty much anywhere and DaVinci2 is like a pumped up SDXL 3.0. The video generation tool probably needs 2 more releases to be really good and the internal image editor is a bit pants. There is a really good crowd of helpful AI art enthusiasts. None of that hideous backstabbing Moderator nonsense like that other well known AI art site (who shall be nameless). Cheap to use at an entry level. This place has restored my faith in AI Art sites. I love it.

DDG is my therapy! I love it and now have over 500 images that I personally cherish as my own because of the amazing features DDG offers its users. I mostly use the free features due to the ability to earn 'energy' points based on usage and creativity. I hope DDG is here to stay!

Very easy software to use. Credit for prompts you share. Great results.

I use the free features exclusively. This site is wonderful, and has been an innovator in AI art since I started in 2018 or so. The current inclusion of a text-to-image prompt is wonderful. It is one of the few generators that have trained their AI with an encyclopedic knowledge of techniques. Oil paint and encaustic wax, stippling, omnidirectional lighting are a known to it at the free level. The inclusion of a social-media type feedback system and the ability to curate feed by follows are great additions. The moderation system seems fair. Don't publish images with booty and your image will stay up.

I have a collection of 300+ paintings which I enjoyed generating very much. I often use the in-painting tool which is very handy. I always got prompt responses when I contacted DDG. Thanks and keep up the good work

Best free AI image and video making side. Good feature to improve the images with AI-Editor and upscaling. AI-Vision and FluX Models are really good and also the free DaVinci 2 Model makes very nice images.

I have used DeepDreamGenerator for some time now. I find it enjoyable to use. The website has been continuously upgrading their product offerings. I used to use my own photos and apply a “style” to them. Now I mostly use the text prompt feature to generate artwork. I enjoy looking at selected artists on my “feed” and see some great artwork. I rarely use the video generating feature, most people’s results are not that impressive, but DeepDreamGenerator just released a higher-end video generating feature. I’ll have to view some of the results.

A quick rundown:
Deep Dream Generator runs on an "energy point" system. After you create an account, you are given 70 energy points per day for free. You can also choose from several subscription options to get more energy points (which are renewed throughout the day). Different image styles "cost" different levels of points. You can get great results for as little as 4 points per image. Other models cost more and produce commensurately higher quality images. You can create images using text prompts, using another image as a prompt, or both. Video creation is also available.
After you create an image, there are several editing options available. Inpainting (to add/remove items), Image Editor to crop, filter, frame, adjust brightness, contrast, etc. Some editing options are free.

My experience:
I am more of an experimenter than an artist and I am consistently impressed with the quality of the images and the editing capabilities. It's also a delight to be able to scroll through the images created by other users each day, and to trade comments with them. I would highly recommend DDG to both amateurs and established digital artists. It's free to try - you have nothing to lose, and a world of digital art to discover!

Ease of use, free to use (can pay for more features and the ability to create more per day...but otherwise free), can take ideas I have locked in my head and turn them into stunning images.

Good selection of AI models, but they have lists with like system that is a popularity contest & NOT on quality of images. Some poor images can get well over 250 likes because they have a fanclub. Nice to get energy from 'Try a Prompt' but when one person has thousands more tries than the next it is obvious there are trading going on/or a fan club supporting that person as as the site should then be flooded with images from that person's prompt. Not honest. The Likes should be Anonymous so not a popularity contest and the unknown artist with good images might get more exposure. Get rid of 'best of' lists and site would be much better!!! Random lists better, and images that are viewed in full size...likes only should be able to given from viewing full size images.
