I’ve been with Degiro for 4 years
I’ve been with Degiro for 4 years, by investing a few tens of thousands of euros and during that entire time I haven’t had any problems with my deposits (they were all processed), withdrawals (they were credited to my bank account within two days at most), or the crediting of dividends. Over these four years, I’ve held almost the same Greek stocks consistently, and I’ve never had any issues with dividends. This year, however, although they should have been credited as of April 30, 2026, as of today, July 2, 2026, they still haven’t been credited.
When I contacted them and filed a formal complaint—explaining that the dividends had been credited to my account every year but not this year—they gave a vague response and shifted the blame to their custodian, claiming that the custodian had not credited the dividends to them. The custodian is obviously chosen by Degiro, so it is their sole choice and responsibility. It is not possible that, for the same security, all other brokers have credited the dividend to their clients for about two months now, but Degiro has not.I suspect that something else is going on, but I can’t prove it. In any case, my decision to leave them is final

I’ve been using DEGIRO for quite some time and overall I’m very satisfied with the platform. The fees are among the lowest in Europe, which makes a huge difference for long-term investing. The interface is clean, easy to use, and execution has always been reliable in my experience.
What I also appreciate is the access to many international markets without needing multiple brokers. The platform is simple enough for beginners but still offers enough tools for more experienced investors.
Customer support could sometimes be faster, but overall the value for money is excellent. I would definitely recommend DEGIRO to anyone looking for a low-cost and trustworthy investing platform.
