My daughter purchased me a gift card…

My daughter purchased me a gift card for my birthday. They refused to add it to my account. The customer service agent was not knowledgeable, as she kept stating, “I think”. I will be canceling my membership. Also, they are overpriced.

Extremely terrible customer service in…

Extremely terrible customer service in Winter Garden, Fl. The owner is very rude and I will not be returning. Also, do not fall for the monthly membership. They took my money for three months and then automatically cancelled my subscription without me knowing. When I asked about it, I was told that if you don’t use the credits you lose them. What a total scam!!! I don’t see them being in business very long.

I won’t be coming back

I won’t be coming back! I’ve tried this place a few times, and the lashes never last longer than a week. The only positive experience I had was with my lash artist — she was amazing and truly deserves better.

Unfortunately, the customer service is awful. Angie in customer service charged my credit card **without authorization**, even after I requested to cancel my appointment. That’s unacceptable and feels dishonest.

It’s really disappointing to see such poor business practices. If you value your money and want quality service, go somewhere else. The products don’t last, and management clearly doesn’t care about customers.

**STAY AWAY.**

Don't waste your money

The staff was friendly and kind however the lash application was NOT great. The lashes were sparse and fell out quickly. Two lashes were glued to my upper waterline and irritated my eye. Manager reached out but did nothing.

Get rid of entitled Nicole (manager)

As a first-time customer, I reached out to book a lash appointment at Deka. The individual who introduced themselves as Nicole, the manager, displayed a considerable lack of professionalism and was rather rude. Her behavior was unacceptable, and it left a decidedly negative impression. It's evident that she could benefit from self-reflection and a more customer-centric approach. As a result of this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

An edit to previous post

I don’t know how to edit my previous review but I would like to add to it. I am concerned about the owner’s online response as it was extremely unprofessional and inaccurate. Attacking me personally for sharing a review of this business makes me uncomfortable. I did not want to create chaos nor did I want the owner to dox me. I wanted a refund and received only a partial one especially since I had to have them removed. My initial charge was $212 and $34 for product. Later $5 tip for a fix that made the lashes fall out even more and $77 for serum that doesn’t work. I was never made aware unopened product could not be returned. That should have been discussed especially being a new customer! They offered two other levels that were less expensive but the told me they would fall out which seems like bait and switch. Having lash extensions elsewhere that not only looked more realistic, they looked great for three weeks and the lashes didn’t start falling out later in the same day! This company has numerous complaints so it is rude for the owner to attack me with inaccurate and vicious comments simply for sharing my experience.

Poor quality lashes for what you pay

The eyelashes fell off immediately after having paid a full set, they fell off the same day. Deka offered another appt but with same technician and the appt was not accommodating. The appt had to be within the first 5 days of having had them done and the tech is not available so there goes that opportunity. Will not be returning.

Complaint never addressed

I summited a complaint, and no manager has contacted me. Facebook Messenger just has an automatic replay, plus emails are sent with no replay.. Very disappointed after years of being a client! I have not received a confirmation of my cancelation of membership nor a refund! I have been a client for many years! Unbelievable!
Had a terrible experience with a technician, and seems this company does not care. Rude, disrespectful, and even screaming at me, plus pointing fingers in front of my face.

UPDATE; After 2 weeks and after posting bad reviews I got a text addressing the situation (just a text, and no call), BUT lying they had called me and got my voicemail. NO MISSED CALLS OR VOICEMAILS, at all. Why? Because
they never called!
Be aware that they delete complaints too.

I cannot rate how long the lashes last because they are too new. But, I do love the look and the service I received by Victoria who was the lash artist.
Being a professional my self I was very pleased with the professional treatment I received. Yes I would recommend this salon.

Lacking proper customer service…

I haven't been able to book online in months. I've tried downloading the app, Go into the website and nothing works. I have brought this to their attention every time I have to call and book an appointment. They assure me that someone will contact me to correct the issue but no one does. I like to schedule my appointments late at but I'm unable to do THATS FRUSTRATING!!! I haven't had lashes on in months & plan to cancel my membership. Don't get me wrong I love the look of the lashes but the customer service is really lacking.
I had an appointment booked and woke up that day with a fever and difficulty breathing so I did a covid test & it was positive. BC it was within 12 hrs of appt I was charged bug bucks. I understand that the lash artist should still get tipped for my missed appointment But not the rest of the charges not when you can prove that you actually have Covid. I offered to bring in my prescription for covid (rather then a positive test) but they didn't care. I canceled my appointment out of the courtesy to them and their family. I won't make that mistake again either. Next time I'll share my germs.

Customer service

I made an appointment online, drove over 30 minutes to receive service and was told online booking had made a mistake. Did not offer me anything to compensate . Very poor customer service!! Looking now at reviews, WOW.

I am so upset I feel like I just got robbed for $100. I can’t believe that this company is actually getting away with this my eyebrows look like garbage. I look like a monster walking around a furry hairy monster. This company needs to be shut down I am taking him to court. This is an absolute rip off scam. This company needs to really close down. It is the worst company ever in life I’ve ever ever been to please do not go there. If you know any kind of anything, go get your eyebrows arch from somebody who does wax or threading do not go there do not go there. You are going to get ripped off their lashes suck their eyebrow sucks they don’t clean them up they just put some Caleb die in your eyes and oh my God please do not go to. That is the worst place in the world please if you know anything do not go to this company they are going to be closed soon.

I booked an appointment for an Express…

I booked an appointment for an Express fill. It was the worst experience ever. My lashes are literally falling out daily and that was on Sunday, 2 days later. I will never go there again. I think they need to train their staff to adhere to a higher standard than this. Save your money and go elsewhere. Stay away from this place.

If I could give them zero stars, I would! DON'T LET THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOOL YOU! They provide great customer service over the phone 1. The person who did my lashes was very unprofessional... As she was doing them, she was gossiping with her coworker. I went in for my appointment yesterday and half of my lashes have already fallen off as of today! I requested a refund, but they don't do that apparently. I got them done because I am going away this weekend, they're asking me to come back so they can fix them HOW??? HOW??? I explained that I got them done because I have somewhere to be this weekend and she told me to go get them fixed after I'm back... What's the point if the reason I got them done in the first place is because I have somewhere to be and stuff to do??? I see that I'm not the only one who's had that experience. SAVE YOUR MONEY, GO ELSEWHERE!!! I paid 90 bucks only for the lashes to fall off the next day.......

Dekalash in Boulder, CO

Tatyana at the Boulder location was nice and the initial look at my lashes (Hybrid $154 + $20 tip), I was happy. Within 3 hours of application on Tuesday, lashes started falling and by 24 hours later (Wednesday) the whole corner of my right eyelid was bare. I followed all of the instructions Tatyana gave me for the care of my lashes, but the lashes continued to fall. I went back to the location and spoke with Taylor. She looked at my lashes and said that I would be scheduled for a free "fix" appointment the next day (Wednesday) with Kayla. Although I was excited to get my lashes fixed for free, I knew that the event (my son's wedding) was approaching soon on Thursday (rehearsal dinner), Friday (wedding) and out of town (45 minutes away from Boulder). I had many many things to do the rest of the week, but I really hoped I could get my lashes fixed. Of course, my responsibilities for the wedding rehearsal dinner and getting my out-of-town family from the airport (all day Wednesday) had me very short on time. This was the reason why I had my initial appointment on Tuesday. I knew I wouldn't have time to sit for another hour + to get my lashes "fixed". I called and told them that I couldn't make it and was charged $20 more dollars because I cancelled. All in all I paid $194 for a set of lashes that only lasted 24 hours in its full glory. In my pictures for the wedding, you couldn't even tell I had them on. I could've just worn strip lashes for all the time and money wasted. I will NEVER again return to dekalash and I will tell anyone who will listen, not to trust this business with something so important & expensive. I have had my lashes done many times at other places and they lasted a whole week in their full glory and 2-3 weeks of looking good. It felt like a complete waste of time and money.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. The lashes started falling out on the same day. I called when I returned from my trip with few lashes in one eye and none on the other. The response was for me to come in and pay more money for a fill. Do not waste your money.

Absolutely terrible scam

Absolutely terrible. They double charged me twice while my account was supposed to be on a freeze. The 'manager' who was supposed to be helping the refund process had an absolutely terrible attitude, the entire time, both times this happened. I asked to cancel my membership and the manager Sara took it upon herself to freeze the account instead of cancelling and then when I went to cancel again I was told that I would have to be charged one more time and if I chose to cancel immediately I would lose any of my saved credits. They are a scam and beyond rude.
