This is worst company of transports…

This is worst company of transports I've ever tried! They are mostly late, and they even arrive before the scheduled time, and they don't wait! So you arrive at the time they should arrive and you discover they already left! This is unacceptable!
They are more expensive than Stib but the quality of service is terrible! Last subscription I do with them.

The worst transport ever!

The worst transport ever!! Through all my years living in Belgium not even once a bus came on time, never! 99% of the drivers are so rude, they drive like crazy and no matter how early I try to go to the bus stop im always late for work. I assume they never start their work on time because sometimes when I want to take the bus at 10am which should not be a problem since there is no traffic then, they are again late! If i can give 0 stars i will. The worst company, I wish they do not exist. Wtf is that

ISo de Lijn is catering for modern needs

It was on the new bus so good, clean and on time. Can't agree with the bad reviews. I am only 1m58 but have noticed how tall many Dutch and Flemish men and sometimes women are. They are the ones crouching in other forms of public transport but De Lojn are realists. Bravo

Always either late either too early
Typing this as I am currently staying in freezing temperature with rain and the bus being 20 minutes late
Some of us have places to be at certain times
The drivers don’t care, they are druving relaxed as if it’s normal to be late
I’m always leaving early from work in order to catch the bus
So I am losing money to stay in the cold 8/10 times? Absolute shitshow
Won’t recommend to anyone
The only reason they still have people taking their busses it’s because there is no other transport out of the city
Haven’t heard a single person being happy woth their service

Awful & unreliable!!

The buses used to be reliable and somewhat convenient. But now, they keep changing times and routes.

Every two hours, one bus is getting canceled without any prior notice!! And it's not like there's a bus every 15 min, you have to wait more than an hour, hoping the next bus doesn't get cancelled!

People use buses to get to work, kids use these buses to get to their schools and come back safely! Do you have any idea how much inconvenience you are causing to everyone??

Between the cancellations, delays, and strikes, nowadays, there's barely any smooth operation of De Lijn services anymore...

respectless driver

Today, September 5, 2025, at 4:10 PM in Knokke, I wanted to board the art tram with my family. My wife, my one-year-old son in my arms, and I. He saw us approaching and smiled at us. We stood next to his driver's door, he smiled at us, and closed the door. We walked to the next door, which was open, and he closed it in our faces. At the station, the train turned around to head toward Ostend. He turned around, smiled at us again, and waved to us.
Several elderly ladies sitting at the station observed the situation and could only shake their heads. They apologized for the man.

I have no idea what makes people so bitter and frustrated in their lives. The driver should just know that his behavior is certainly not contributing to making the world a better place.

Vandaag, 5 september 2025, om 16:10 uur in Knokke, wilde ik met mijn gezin in de kunsttram stappen. Mijn vrouw, mijn zoontje van één jaar in mijn armen en ik. Hij zag ons aankomen en glimlachte naar ons. We stonden naast zijn chauffeursdeur, hij glimlachte naar ons en deed de deur dicht. We liepen naar de volgende deur, die openstond, en hij deed hem voor onze neus dicht. In het station keerde de trein om richting Oostende. Hij draaide zich om, glimlachte opnieuw naar ons en zwaaide naar ons.
Een paar oudere dames die in het station zaten, zagen de situatie en konden alleen maar hun hoofd schudden. Ze verontschuldigden zich namens de man.

Ik heb geen idee wat mensen zo verbitterd en gefrustreerd maakt. De chauffeur zou gewoon moeten weten dat zijn gedrag zeker niet bijdraagt aan een betere wereld.

Heute, 05.09.25 um 16:10 Uhr in Knokke Heißt mit meiner Familie in die Kunsttram einsteigen wollen. Meine Frau, mein einjähriger Sohn auf meinem Arm und ich. Er sieht uns auf sich zukommen und lächelt uns an. Wir stehen neben seiner Fahrertür, er lächelt uns an und schließt die Tür. Wir gehen zur nächsten Tür die offen steht, er schließt sie vor unserer Nase. An der Station wird gewendet um in Richtung Ostende zu fahren. Er wendet lächelt uns wieder an und winkt uns zu.
Mehrere ältere Damen die an der Station saßen, beobachteten die Situation und konnten auch nur mit dem Kopf schütteln. Sie entschuldigten sich für den Mann.

Keine Ahnung was Menschen so verbittert und frustriert in ihrem Leben. Der Fahrer sollte nur wissen, dass er mit seinem Verhalten sicher nicht dazu beiträgt, dass die Welt ein besserer Ort wird.

Wrongfull info at stop

Wrongfull info at stop. Waited one hour. Go home. No bus for 1.5 hour 22 in the evening. Told me to take other bus and transfer. Now I'm stuck in the middle of night 30 km from home. Feck you !!!!! De lijn!!!

Trash company

What a terrible service for such investment, all the time strikes for what?, if they already have a lot of benefits, very good pay, insurances, etc. the bus drivers are rude, they dont stop, very unclean seats and smelly busses, they take a lot of pause to "rest" after 1 round, uff etc. this year was a rise of prices of tickets and abono but the company is trash with trashy policies, 0 help on guidance with problems, all the time late or just cancel in the spot, a lot of busses with no destination just driving arround, it would be ideal to remake this service or company since is a complete failure.

THE WORST PUBLIC TRANSPORT EVER

If I could give less than 1 star I would definitely do that. I am a student in the Flemish region and I purely rely on the public transport. De Lijn is THE WORST public transportation. I cannot express how much I hate it. First of all let’s start with the fact that when your bus/tram is on time is a reason for a celebration, because THEY ARE NEVER ON TIME. De Lijn loves to randomly cancel the buses with no explanation. You sit and wait for your bus for 15 minutes and 3 min before you see that your bus is cancelled and you have to wait another 15 minutes. They can randomly strike and limit their already very limited routes. I had multiple situations I couldn’t go to my classes, because the buses were delayed for an hour (strikes ;)). Secondly, prices that were already high, now are even HIGHER. 3€ for a single ticket is a ridiculous price for the serive they provide and for how old the vehicles are. They also don’t have any good reduction for students. Another thing is that their tracking system sucks. Sometimes, on the app it shows that the bus departed on time, when in real life it was late 15 minutes. I don’t understand how they can ask us for so much money and provide this terrible service. If the distance is walkable, please don’t even bother with de lijn!!! DE LIJN DO BETTER!!

Very bad and cheat people,not good…

Very bad and cheat people,not good service. I sat in bus ,i tried to pay with my kbc app ,i have aabonnementon my name,but my Internet didn't worked at that moment ,so I paid 1 minute later with app, ticket checker came and check the time ,and they given me fine of 294 euros,i tried to contact them with emails but no reply.
