Crooks & thieves AVOID!!!
Ordered meat from a grocery store through Deliveroo, the store ran out of meat and only delivered 1/4 of what was ordered. Contacted Deliveroo THE PAYMENT AND ORDER PLATFORM who promptly denied a refund and said “they would take the feedback on board”?? Come again? I WANT A BLINKING REFUND, MY HARD EARNED MINEY BACK, NOT FEEDBACK! As such, after back and forth with customer services and the groceries and emailing they were adamant in denying the refund after providing ALL the proof. Thus they stole the £10 odd and it isn’t the money but the principle that counts; we are placing an order though YOU, trusting our monies with YOU to provide the service and thus that HOLDS YOU DELIVEROO ACCOUNTABLE if that service (food) is not met! Simple! I deleted my account and won’t be using them again. Just eat and Uber eats both impeccable with their policies and customer services. Trust them instead and not Deliveroo. Total FAIL!
