We had to schedule multiple appts with multiple sub contractors due to this company's inattention to detail and poor logistics. Some of the people who showed up (or in other cases, didn't show up) were just awful, and the company did nothing to reimburse me for lost time or damage. There were people who just didn't show up, who came hours late, who brought only some of the items, who caused damage in my home. One of the sub-contractors they sent stole money from me, promising to return to finish a job and never did. After a few attempts to reschedule a re-delivery of an item that was never brought, Handy finally just refunded the money and said they wouldn't be delivering or assembling that item, because it was just too much hassle for them. If I'd known how much of a nightmare this would be, I would have never gone anywhere near them. You've been warned.

I cannot stop raving about this service!

I needed to get a bed badly as up to this point, I'd been sleeping on an air mattress on my living room floor. Ikea told me that it would take 10-15 business days to get my requested items (plus an additional fee to get things assembled). I also just didn't have the time to make the trek to Red Hook to get everything I needed. Luckily, I found Handy Delivery.

With this service, I was able to get a bed in two days at a time that worked with my demanding schedule. Even better? I didn't have to lift a finger. The delivery guy not only brought my new bed to my house, but he also put everything together!

This is one of the best experiences I've had so far. I'd highly recommend it!

I can't believe it was so easy to get IKEA furniture. My girlfriend and I wanted to redecorate, but neither of us had time to go to IKEA, and I don't have a car. I just picked the items we wanted at delivery.handy.com, and they delivered and assembled over the weekend. Can't recommend enough - I'll be telling all my friends about it.
