Highly recommended! This small and fairly compact book contains all the necessary fields with wich you will be confronted as an emerging artist. It brings many participants of the art world (artists, collectors, gallery owners etc.) together and gives them place to give you advice. By the way I think it hits the heart of the times and makes it clear that the art world is changing due to various factors. Thanks Delphian for this book!

Genuinely insightful advice that is applicable to any emerging artist aiming to develop their understanding of the industry. I found the writing unpretentious and straight to the point, without oversimplification. All the key areas are covered in this moderately sized book. It’s easy to fit in your pocket and dip in and out of on the bus or the train. Well worth a read!

I found Delphian Gallery's Artist Manual extremely helpful. There were lots of new skills to think about concerning how to pace yourself as a young artist. The cycle of an art career isn't often talked about other than the unpredictability of it. However these new perspectives gave me insight and experience about developing a practice that can be maintained alongside balancing ones work and publicity. I love the varied quotes that pick you up inbetween the heavier more serious pieces of writing. Thank you so much Benjamin and Nick for organising this brilliant book!

Candid vignettes outline the various touch points and popular artist inquiries like how to present yourself online and how to professionally approach galleries. Incorporating the incite of other established artists and reputable curators/galleries, this book is an unpretentious and easy read that I highly recommend. Being an early career artist myself, I found this book very insightful and down to earth.
