I am waiting for the magazines since August now already. The biggest shame is that it is a birthday gift for my boyfriend and he did not receive any issue. So damn embarrassing for me!
I would like to get my money back!!!!!

Had a text from my bank saying id gone overdrawn and checking my account £22 had been claimed by Dennis publishing apparently for a magazine subscription I had no knowledge of. Contacted bank who claimed the payment back and cancelled the direct debit

My brother has 24/7 care as a result of a brain injury . He has no capacity. Over the past years or so Denis have claimed he has taken out subscriptions on more than six publications. They take direct debit payments and then agree to refund in each case. They have done this over and over again. Last time they assured me they would remove his personal details from their database . Now, once again, their employee or agent has fraudulently claimed that my brother has subscribed and they are using his bank account details once again.

absolute shambles of a company, signed up to one of their subscription deals where you get 6 copies of Auto Express and 3 bottles of G3 car cleaning products. luckily I got the 6 copies of the magazine on time every week, a few were late by a day but I can take that. but the gifts I have never received and it has been 3-4 months later and I am still waiting. what makes this situation worse was I contacted their customer services lots of times in this period, each time I got the same response " we have dispatched another gift for you and it will be with you within 28 days, if it isn't please get back in touch" seriously, who leaves it 28 days before reporting a missing parcel? thats crazy, I got fobbed off that much I decided to copy in the editor of the magazine and several other people within the organisation, they all proved as much use as a chocolate teapot! I will keep on the battle with them though I want my gift or my money back, its the only reason I signed up to this drivel of a magazine. Word of warning if you are thinking of signing up for a so called offer, please dont! you won't receive your gift and their customer service is shocking!

I have ordered your magazine in November 2017 as a Christmas gift for my husband. It was supposed to come with a free gift of 1kg of whey protein. Unfortunately, protein never came. I reported the problem on THREE OCCASIONS NOW and customer service said the gift was re-ordered! What a lie! It's the end of April 2018 and no whey protein in sight. I was patient and giving dennis publishing a chance to redeem themselves but it never came. I am not happy and will never do business with them again. I recommend to stay away unless you are happy with only half a deal that you sign up for.

I wish I had read the reviews before giving in to one of their $5 for 5 months deals, only 3 of the 5 magazines actually arrived. Also, after the 5 months had passed the payment for the next 6 months was taken without any warning, as any other reputable subscription service would have given. To make things even worse, there is no way to actually retrieve your password online, and to log in you need one of the slips that comes with each magazine, which means I now have to wait for them to graciously send me another magazine or contact them another way to gain access to my account to even attempt getting my money back and to cancel this awful service. Avoid at all costs, there is no reason to use this companies services with so many better ones offering equally good deals and actually respecting their customers.
EDIT: After contacting their customer support, they got back to me within an hour offering a refund for the re-subscription and 2 issues for free as compensation for the missed ones.

Two months later and I still have yet to receive my first magazine from them. They promised me that my first copy would be November 10th and I made the order October 7th and still NOTHING. I am filing a dispute with my credit card company for fraud.

DO NOT sign up to a Dennis subscription. I have repeatedly had subs debited which had previously been cancelled. This is Dennis' error and yet after 2 years of attempting to canceI this subscription I am going to have to go the trading standards route to attempt to reclaim what is mine. It has been an enormous waste of time and energy at a time when it was least needed. As we speak they have money which belongs to me for a subscription they never even sent.
They will likely attempt to pass off blame to their predecessors but both iterations of this incompetent and irresponsible outfit shoulder blame
STAY AWAY

Wanted to subscribe to electronic EVO. They made it the paper version in error. Couldn't change error had to cancel and refund and I had to talke out second subscription for the correct version. Still waiting for refund which they claim has to be cheque (why? I paid with debit card). So far has taken from 17 August to 2 October. Said they'd phone back!!

We subscribed to a special offer of EVO and also OCTANE, both great magazines. Supposed to come with a free toolkit. DENNIS publications are just a bunch of cowboys working out of a seedy office. Zero customer service. Zero support and frankly they don't give a damn. Awful company to deal with. Wont be falling for their bribes again on ANY MAGAZINES - NEVER EVER give out phone numbers to these or any other online scammers unless you want constant harrasment

After some time the Denis sourced spam calls and emails have now stopped.
I've therefore upped the rating on my original review.
I've very happy with The Week magazine which is Dennis Publishing - my main source of news and a relatively balanced magazine politically. Some very interesting "Final Word" articles.
Original Review Text:
The issue I have is having taken out a subscription they now harress me on the phone to take out more subscriptions!
The magazine is fine and I'm happy with it - but I'm not happy about the constant calls.

Dennis Publishing is a con. I took out a subscription for a magazine and was offered a free gift of a steak hamper. I never received this so I cancelled the subscription. I telephoned customer services to complain after they sent me a card asking me to start my subscription again and receive a free steak hamper. After a week or so the called me back saying the had a code for me to claim my gift, I couldn't write the code down as I was using my hands free whilst driving. I was coming up to a service station so was informed they would call me back in 10-15 minutes so I could write down the code. I didn't here anything for a week so I called back where I was informed there was an ongoing problem and they would email the code and weblink to me to claim my gift. It has been nearly another week and still nothing. It seems to me they offer gifts to get you to purchase subscriptions but they don't actually give you the gift just the run around..
On top of this, they reply 19 months later asking if it had been resolved. This seriously shows how slow their customer service team reply to complaints. I will be courteous and let them know that "NO IT HAD NOT BEEN RESOLVED"
