I love Depop and have been so happy I found it 6 years or so ago

I’m so disappointed in their seller protection. I sold a BRAND NEW pair of birkenstocks to username anuakinsanya for $80 (I paid $197) The buyer started acting very sketchy after I sent them out. Then claimed they were “dirty” and wanted a refund. This person messaged depop and sent photos of old ruined birkenstocks with holes in them and depop sided with this person who isn’t even a seller. I even had a photo i submitted for proof of the brand new shoes with the date and time that I took at the post office when mailing out. i’m in shock that with the clear evidence I had yet they are still favoring this buyer who has nothing on their profile. I got scammed. I’m so upset I will NEVER sell or buy from them again! Shop and sell with caution. ⚠️

Really my favorite app I really like it. I buy from it any time I need any brand trustworthy and I got a lot of things I like.

I was on the app for less than 24 hours, posted 2 items with pictures of details. Didn't message anyone and then all of a sudden I was banned with no email no communication.
When I reached to customer service asking for what the reason I was banned to learn they responded with we looked into your account and they are upholding their rules.

I responded again, asking for a manager because it didn't make any sense. I want to know what rules, I didn't follow.
A manager responded and tried to reassure me that they were following policy and they looked into my account and it was correct why I was suspended but because of how they are set up they can not give me feedback.
What a terrible customer service for sellers

I had a very positive experience with Depop. The platform made it easy to handle my issue, and the process was smooth and efficient. I really appreciate how responsive and helpful the support team was, especially during a busy time. As a seller, this kind of reliability means a lot. Overall, I’m very satisfied and grateful for the support.

The site is filled with flaky children and outright scammers. A lot of high school in college kids who will mail the thing that you bought from them if they get around to it, usually packed horrible. Or they’re just outright scammers that take your money and give you fake ZIP Codes or already used tracking numbers. Of the last six things I bought on Depop I received three of them and two were nothing like the ad off of which I bought it. There’s no customer service number or chat or direct line for Depop and they return emails of what seems to be an arbitrary basis. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

The team members that respond to support tickets show great attention and intentionality.

Awful app and website, had account for a couple of years but it’s going down the hill with all fake accounts and only fans users, it’s turn into used underwear, naked photos and dirty sock selling platform. No other app allows such things it’s just gross.

The Depop customer service experience is good they answer in a timely matter and handled all my issues.

I purchased a medium grey nike t shirt--The seller had 3 pictures posted of the t shirt being this color- Yet, I was sent a solid dark black t shirt. I promptly filed a dispute, sent these shady people the pictures on the listing & the black T shirt I was sent & the shady Depop people denied my dispute, which was very clear cut. These sleazos have no customer service number or ability to use a chat.

Love the items and creative sellers, do not appreciate the lengthy time it takes to get paid

fast and kind answer. They handled my problem with great seriousness and efficiency.

Costumer service poor they paid out money from my selling items and never comes to my bank is £500 with is missing !!!! Be Careful

Depop is Temu on steroids!
Finally, the black market of counterfit items has a platform to sell without any repercussions.
I have been on the platform (as a buyer) for almost a year. I have reported blatant cases of counterfit items being sold on the platform and absoyno action was taken.
Depop charges fees to sellers, therefore, there isnno incentive to penalize sellers selling ILLEGAL items.
I can say with certainty that 99.9% of the items on Depop are counterfit/fake.

Why this platform is not investigated is beyond me!

Don't waste your time or money on this platform.

Horrible I don't recommend it to anyone I sold an item and I couldn't send it so I made the refund on paypal, I'm 1 day without the refund having been confirmed in the app and this morning they charged me 16€ I don't know why it's pending.
