Comfortable, plus sized trans friendly underwear
I have purchased many pairs of stuffer friendly boxer shorts and have lived every single one. The items are well made, comfortable and fit well. The designs are pretty and fun. It is practically impossible to find stuffer/packer friendly boxers in sizes above XL, so Wilde Mode have been a life saver in that respect.

Very poor experience unfortunately
Ordered a changing coat in a bright bold banana print. When it arrived unfortunately it was very pale, the printing was extremely poor. The zip wasn't finished correctly and ended at different lengths. The fleece inside was shedding everywhere. It certainly wasn't satisfactory for the £149 price tag (I paid £139 with a discount code) - it felt extremely cheaply made. I contacted them immediately to request a return and was initially told they don't accept returns and that quality and finish are a matter of preference and not grounds for a return which is totally incorrect. After I followed this up with photos the owner did then agree the item was substandard but said I needed to wait for her to contact the third party factory that produced the coat. I feel it's important to add I'm not in the habit of returning items especially not to small businesses but I do feel that I should have been able to return the coat straight away for my refund and they could have taken up the issues with their factory without leaving me waiting. It was eventually confirmed I could return the coat, I said I would send them the receipt for postage. They didn't confirm they had received it back until I emailed again to check and they stated yes received and refund has been sent. After a week my bank had no record of the refund, I emailed to ask what date it had been processed but got no reply so I filed a claim via the bank and that day I received an email saying the refund had now been processed and I did eventually receive £139 back but not the postage cost. So overall I'm down money for something they've admitted themselves wasn't acceptable. The whole experience has left me pretty disappointed, this is a company lots of friends had recommended so I definitely didn't expect this. I feel sorry for them they've obviously had their issues with a flood but the way this has been dealt with I couldn't recommend them.

As soon as the concern was raised, we investigated the issue with our third-party production partner and agreed the item should be returned. A full refund for the coat was processed once it was received back with us.
As noted on our product pages, colours can vary slightly depending on screen settings, however quality concerns are always taken seriously and we will act where something falls below our expectations.
We are a small independent brand and always aim to resolve matters fairly and responsibly. While we understand this experience was frustrating, we are pleased the refund was completed and appreciate the feedback as it helps us continue improving.

Super bras that make you feel good,
I am very impressed with the quality and originality of the design. I am a very awkward size so the made to measure service was ideal as measuring yourself can be difficult so it payed of with perfect fitting comfortable and pleasing to look at design.

Happy repeat customer
I'm a fairly regular repeat customer and before Christmas I ordered 4 hoodies in plus size funky fabrics. I knew they would take a while as they are hand made and come from abroad. I also knew there were would be customs charges which turned out to be £77.66; less than I expected actually. I love all the hoodies, all l zipped ones. The material is really soft and light weight. Like the mushroom one I already had they wash well & dry overnight on a hanger. I know they are more expensive than the high street but they are one of a kind & basically this kind of thing in plus sizes doesn't exist in any stores I've been too.

Disappointing.
I ordered 3 bras recently. I followed the size and measuring guide and ordered accordingly. Unfortunately, when I received my items, I could see immediately that they were vastly different sizes. It was very clear visually. I emailed wildemode explaining the issue and they were initially very helpful and responsive. They suggested returning the items so they could look into it. I explained that I would do this, however had ordered the items for an imminent holiday and would now be forced to purchase other bras that I would have in time to take with me, therefore I asked if they could consider a refund, given that this was not my error.
I did not hear from them again so I went ahead and sent the bras back. I have since emailed asking them to confirm that they have received the items back and they have said that the sizing difference is due to differences in fabric and stretch, and have declined to offer a refund other than store credit. Given the vast size differences in the items I received, I wouldn't feel confident ordering again so am unlikely to use the store credit. I would advice if you're thinking of ordering to consider that different fabrics apparently alter the size quite drastically and this is not reflected on their sizing chart or any of the advice on their website. Sadly due to the poor sizing and poor customer service, an overall very disappointing experience and I wouldn't order again.

All of our bras are handmade to order, and different fabrics do behave differently in terms of stretch and recovery, which can result in slight variations in fit. While our size guide and calculator are designed to give the best possible starting point, handmade garments will never be identical in the way mass-produced items are. That said, we appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns around confidence when ordering again.
As outlined in our returns policy, we are only able to offer exchanges or store credit on bras once they have been made, unless an item is confirmed as faulty. After assessing the returned items, we found they were made to the sizes ordered and within our normal tolerance for fabric variation, which is why a refund was not offered.
We’re sorry this experience left you feeling disappointed, and we appreciate you taking the time to raise your concerns, as feedback like this helps us continue to improve how we communicate fit expectations across different fabrics.

Website is very clear and user-friendly. Manifacuring and shipping times are explained frankly and respected. The products is very high quality. I had some problem with customs but it is not Wilde Mode fault at all.

Check measurements thoroughly
I purchased two bras because they were different, they looked comfortable, the reviews were good, handmade to your size. I followed the instructions on measuring and ordered. Sadly when they came they were too tight. They looked well made but comfort I don’t know. I didn’t send them back because on their website they said they are made to your measurements.

Because every body (and every set of boobs!) is completely unique, fit can sometimes be a bit of trial and error, even when measurements are taken carefully. That’s why we provide a suggested size based on the information given, but some people do find they need a small tweak in sizing or fit to get their perfect comfort level.

I wanted to support a small business…
I wanted to support a small business that asked for help. My experience was pretty bad. I ordered a custom piece.
Most of the seames were sewn with the false tension which caused them to break apart.

We take quality concerns very seriously, especially with custom-made items, as each piece is created with care in our Dundee studio. When you contacted us, we thoroughly reviewed the photos and details provided. Based on that assessment, the damage shown was consistent with force applied to the fabric after it had left our studio, rather than a construction or tension fault during sewing. This is why we explained that the issue was not caused during making.
That said, I completely understand how frustrating it is when something you were excited about does not meet expectations, and I am sorry that the situation felt upsetting. Our intention is never to dismiss concerns, but to be honest and transparent about what we see when assessing a garment.
We truly appreciate anyone who chooses to support a small, independent business, and I am sorry we could not resolve this in a way that felt positive for you.

Don’t waste your money.
I ordered several items in October including some underwear. Unfortunately, the first time I wore the pants, my thumb went through the material. I contacted Wilde Mode on instagram and they apologised and said they’d replace them.
After a month, I messaged to see if they’d been shipped and was told they were out of purple material so I suggested they send black instead to try and make things easier for them.
I was told she wasn’t in the office but wasn’t given a solution.
I left it another 2 weeks and chased it up again asking if they’d sent the replacement as I’d seen they had purple in stock on their website.
I received a response that simply said “No.”
I’ve since requested a refund which has been ignored so I requested a return through the website which has been declined.
For expensive items, I’m very disappointed in their customer service. There’s no wonder they’re not making as many sales if this is how they treat customers.
EDIT: Reply to seller: you’ve responded to this review but STILL have not replaced the pants despite having my address. The purple material was in stock and I already said I’d be happy to have a different colour. Perhaps instead of giving free pants away, you could just fulfil your own policies?
You’ve gone to a lot of effort to reply here but all you needed to do was send the replacement instead of completely ignoring my request.
The damage happened when I pulled the pants down. Clearly that’s a manufacturing issue because none of my other pants purchased from you did this. Just this pair.
You offered the replacement, I accepted. You then chose not to fulfil that offer. That’s on you, not me.
If only your customer service skills were as good as your begging skills.
Don’t bother responding again.

The damage described occurred during wear and was not the result of a manufacturing fault. Our items are handmade, quality-checked before dispatch, and we’re unable to offer refunds or replacements for damage caused after use.
As a small independent business, we always try to help where we reasonably can, which is why we initially offered a goodwill replacement while we checked stock availability. Unfortunately, goodwill replacements are not guaranteed and are subject to material availability and production capacity.
A refund or return was declined because the item had already been worn and did not meet our returns criteria, which are clearly outlined on our website.
We stand by our products and our policies, and we always encourage customers to review care guidance carefully before wear.

scratchy seams
I wanted undies which were suitable for skin sensitivities. They advertise comfortable seams, but what I received has very basic overlocked seams (not flat locked or folded seams) with scratchy thread.
The fabric is pretty and soft, and the fit is true to what they advertise.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I do want to clear up a misunderstanding, because the description you’ve given doesn’t match the way Wilde Mode items are made.
All of our underwear is constructed using soft overlocked seams - this is the correct and industry-standard method for high-quality underwear. We don’t use flatlock or folded seams, and we don’t advertise those anywhere. Our seams are finished with our signature soft rainbow thread, exactly as shown and described on our website.
What you’ve mentioned doesn’t align with our construction at all, so it sounds like there may be some confusion about what you received. We’re genuinely concerned if something felt scratchy against your skin, because comfort and sensory-friendliness are core to what we do - but the seams you described are not a fault or an issue with the product.
If you’d like us to double-check that the item you have is definitely a Wilde Mode piece, you’re welcome to send over a quick photo, but there’s nothing defective here based on what you’ve described.

Joyfully quirky and gorgeous!
I absolutely love this company and have been shopping with Wilde Mode for a few years now. My drawers and wardrobe pop with gorgeous vibrant bold prints that make me so happy. The inclusive sizing and creativity is phenomenal, always a joy for me when a new print design comes on the website. Having read some of the other reviews I’m driven to remind people that this is slow fashion as opposed to big business fast fashion. So yes there is a wait for your individual product to arrive as instead of factories full of ready made gear my item is being hand made to order. They can be on the expensive side, and there may be some delightful little imperfections but again for anyone who genuinely wants to support small ethical business it’s a no brainer to go with the flow and enjoy all of what that entails. It just means I save up for an item I really want and spend a bit of extra time being excited for it to arrive, and when it does it’s like Christmas in July. We are so used to the immediacy and glossy ‘perfection’ of fast fashion we have lost our sense of the reality of how things are made when we step off the assembly line, that’s my take on it. I 100% support this business, I love the personal approach of the owner and will absolutely continue to buy from them
because they just keep coming up with new ways to keep me excited about their colours patterns textures and designs.
