I ordered a custom prom dress and it’s just sooo cute!! It came a week before prom and everything was on sport! My inspo was a full ai dress and they matched almost everything!! The details are perfect and down to a tea!! I ordered the dress Mid March ( the 11th I think) and it came Thursday April 17th! It shipped and came in 3 days!!! I genuinely think the quality is amazing and I just love everything about my dress!!!

The dress was late even though I paid for expedited shipping. The dress was not the same color purple. The dress had 50% less embellishments on it. Do not order from this company. I have photos of what I paid for verses what I received.

I ordered a custom dress with them. Working with designer Tina was smooth. She's very helpful and patient. It took about almost 4 weeks for me to get my dress. The only problem was that straps are a bit long. My mom shortened them easily. Highly recommended if want a unique dress for your prom

Design Formal made my dream dress come true! The communication was smooth, and they delivered my custom design in only a month. The dress is comfortable, elegant, and made with gorgeous fabric. I loved it so much and will definitely order from them again!

My experience was awesome! It was a beautiful dress . I recommend it! They are in contact with you in case you have any problem, you can write to them , they helped me with the size because the dress was a little tiny , so they recommend me to go to the tailor because usually they add extra fabric in the dress , so it was easy fix! 🥰👌🏽 thanks for make my wedding a special day ❤️

First of all the dress didn't arrive on time. Second the dress looked absolutely NOTHING like the picture. It looked so cheap and the designer wasn't even the same. I paid $580 for this dress and when I emailed about the poor quality and mine and my daughter dislike of the dress they offered me a $60 refund. What an insult. Then I told them I'm not accepting that after I paid $580. Eventually I somehow reached someone and they offered me $200 and nothing more. Atleast they could've gave me 400 and kept the 180 that would've been more reasonable. PLEASE take this dress off the site so no one else prom is ruined.

To say this dress came from far away and im the type to second guess decisions like this. Once my daughter tried the dress on, it came to life. What a beautiful dress. Glad we made the right decision and it came sooner than expected.

I wish I could give this company 0 stars! I ordered a prom dress for my daughter a month in advance. Put the date we needed the dress which was 5/24. Finally received a shipping email stating the dress was shipped on 5/21. It’s 5/26 and still haven’t received the dress. Spent $600 on a dress we can’t even use now. They take their time getting the dress out but sure didn’t waste time taking my money! Never again will order anything from this company and hope others will read these reviews before ordering.

This company dressed does not look like the dresses listed. There is no contact number just automated response. Do not buy you will be disappointed

I needed a gown made quickly and DesignFormal went above and beyond! The craftsmanship was high quality and their communication was fantastic. Tina communicated every change and question promptly and was such a help. I did make some adjustments to my final gown due to nude colors not matching darker skin but the final product was gorgeous!

I ordered my daughter's prom dress from this site. First, I ordered the dress March 6th and paid for express shipping. I was given an estimated shipping date of April 15th. The dress was not shipped until April 28th and I didn't receive the dress until May 5th. Second, the dress we received looks nothing like what we ordered. Not pleased at all. Have to find my daughter another prom dress and her prom is May 16th. Do not order from this company.

We ordered a dress 03/05/2025,based on pictures and written description. Just received the dress 04/28/2025. They assured us the dress would be made to our specific measurements. The dress was described as, "This stunning nude mermaid prom dress features a strapless V-neck design adorned with rhinestones for added sparkle. The figure-flattering silhouette and elegant sweep train make it a perfect choice for a glamorous and unforgettable night."This is the description on their site. When we received the dress, the color was ok, but it was sequin not rhinestones. Very BIG difference. And now they don't want to refund my money,when clearly it was false advertisement. And they won't talk to you. So we're out of our money and have a dress that's horrible. Prom is 2wks away. 😥Be sure to read the return policy, because the company is a fraud and I'm very disappointed with how they did us on our trusted purchase. I paid for a specific look and you gave me a CHEAP mock up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I recently had a terrible experience with Design Formal, and I feel compelled to warn others. I ordered a dress for prom and paid for it months in advance, but it never arrived. I tried calling their customer service multiple times, but no one answered. I also sent an email, only to receive an automated response that didn’t address my concerns. It's incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I strongly advise against ordering from them! Save your money and look elsewhere.

I purchased a dress at DesignFormal for my daughter's prom and I was kind of skeptical at first because I've never purchased from this company before and prom was only a month away but my daughter saw this dress online and she had to have it! I ordered it on February 3rd and it was here on March 7th.My daughter loved it and she was beautiful! Thank you so much DesignFormal!

I have ordered a custom dress from DesignFormal and it was perfect! Tina has guided me through the whole process. I was always updated and asked before they proceeded to the next step of creating the dress. I was a bit nervous, as I was ordering my wedding dress without trying it on, but the measurements were accurate, the material was beautiful and I am more than excited. I highly recommend!

Don’t do it!!! The dress was poorly made and I can only return it for a partial refund AND I’m responsible for shipping which is like $100. Total disaster, buyer beware

DesignFormal is amazing! My dress arrived on time. The dress was beautiful and complimented my shape. I loved the softness of the fabric.

I ordered a dress for $799 for my daughter which showed us to not have to pay a shipping fee. We picked a design that was pre-made and they were to make her dress (not custom) and mail it to us. The dress sent looks halfway like the dress we picked. I sent pictures and asked for a refund and they said they would send $399 if approved, 7 days after recording the dress but they don’t pay for return shipping. I wanted some money back because I have to find my daughter another dress ASAP. The shipping cost is at least $280 to return. I emailed them back to let them know I couldn’t afford that and they offered to give me 10% back for the dress ($79.90 out of $799). At this point, they can keep the money but my daughter’s prom experience is damaged now and I can’t do anything with the dress.

This dress was exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to find the right size for the dress based on the measurement guide. My dress came quicker than I expected and it made me feel so beautiful on my special day.
