Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service - arrogant staff - agents very difficult to understand due to heavy accents.
Getting a new Visa that’s administrated in BC so I can at the very least communicate clearly with the agents.
I’m a senior whose card was declined because I booked an Air B&B ??
I was left abandoned with no money and no explanation - it’s not right in anybodies world to do such a thing to a senior with no warning and no acceptable reason for such action - shame on the way this Quebec Company treats Canadians - take your business out of Quebec!

BEWARE

Absolutely Fu@king Unacceptable! Worse customer service.....No Excuses....How they cannot apparently put or Add HSBC to there payee list for Desjardins financement..... If they were as reputable as they claim .... Explain to me how it's impossible to add a f@king Global Bank to a payee list... they just wanna rape the customer to profiteer Max interest..... Absolutely 💯 Do Not take a loan out from this SHAM

Be ready to always be frustrâtes

If it pas possible to put no star that would be my first Choice. The list of what goes wrong woth this Company is far too long for a online review. Highest turnover on the Market which means in 2 years your conseiller can change multiple times without any notice; no phone transfert to the replacement; not even an Access. to your sick counselor emails; mortgage is slow to process; rules and conditions Will change without you ever knowing it. Incompetent people unable to answer questions; lack of transparency and zero communication between personel: you have tome ready to repeat your story from A to Z each time you are transfert..... Avoid at all costs. You Will simply be angry all the time

If I could negative stars I would. Good luck getting any of your bonus dollars out of their program. Their "agents" just direct you to an email and the response to any emails is to just phone their customer services numbers (which redirects back to the email). Someone will tell you a supervisor will call within 24-48 hours but you will never get a call. Long story short, you'll never get your bonus dollars out of them. Would not recommend, the worst customer services experience I've ever had.

Poor Customer Service and Unilateral Credit Limit Reduction

I recently had a deeply unsatisfactory experience with Desjardins. They abruptly decreased my credit limit without any prior notice, leaving me in a difficult financial situation. To make matters worse, they also cut my financing limit without warning, adding unnecessary stress to my financial planning.

Their customer service is uncooperative, with no access to speak to managers or higher-level representatives. It seems they have implemented a policy that restricts any meaningful resolution or assistance. Even when I spoke to Jenny, who claimed to be an analyst supervisor, she was unable to provide any substantial help and merely read information off her screen, lacking the ability to address my concerns.

I expected better from a credit card company that prides itself on serving its customers. However, their actions have demonstrated a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and financial well-being. Their lack of transparency and the inability to rectify issues have left me feeling frustrated and disheartened.

I strongly advise against choosing Desjardins as your credit card provider. There are undoubtedly more reliable and customer-oriented options available in the market. Save yourself the trouble and seek out a company that values its customers and provides exceptional service.

collecting your bonus dollars? Forget it

After 5 tries to collect my Bonusdollars and talking hours to incompetent agents from Desjardins,(They even told me to visit one of their banks , those that don't exist in BC!!) I went to my Credit Union in Nanaimo who got me this Visa card. the manager tried to help me but ended up shaking her head after having the same problems I had and spending a half hour talking to Desjardins agents ,wasting our time !
She was sorry not being able to help me, but asked me to wait a month or so, changes were coming up with Desjardins. I looked at a site about worse credit cards online, Desjardins seems to win that one easy! Yes, I agree, One star is way to much !!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible online system. Was given my info to login to my online paystubs, frist time loging in got locked out and told
I can’t use an old password…literally impossible.. also no way for first time user to get any help, only way is to email and wait. Cant believe they let the system run that bad. Terrible company. Worst service I’ve had in a long time, maybe ever. Will be telling everyone about this.

Representatives will harass you to…

Representatives will harass you to subscribe to their services "au nom du peuple québécois", even call you to ask why you're dealing with other banks like a jealous ex. Because their interests are better, they leave me tf alone and usually notice me when the interests change drastically? I only ever get ripped off from them, deal with other banks whenever you can.

Called to make an account, they were supposed to call me bavk within a day, they never did. Everyone i spoke to was french and seemed disappointed/uninterested to help once i asked to speak english. do they know english is Canada's main language. people in Quebec are in their own little world and look down on everyone, I have no clue why...

Fraud countless times

I have experienced fraud countless times with Desjardins. I have never received any calls from them letting me know about the frauds. They do not reimburse amounts claimed over 3 months...so i lost money, too. I do not recommend Desjardins to anyone!

This is a money-stealing organization…

This is a money-stealing organization supported by the Quebec government...

I had only a credit card from Desjardins because I bought furniture from a store by finance. Unfortunately, I could not make payments directly in Desjardins branches as I did not have a chequing account (in my opinion, because I did not make monthly unnecessary payments for a chequing account). I wanted to pay, but they said there was a limit on payment and extra, I should pay fees for paying my credit in Desjardins.

This is the most stupid "financial store"...

Oh my…

Oh my! Never putting any money into a bank account here again! They blocked my card and entire online banking account days before Christmas! After shopping and unlocking my security limit they still had security mesures apply.1 hour on the phone, 2 hours of shopping with a 3 year old resulted in me looking like a complete idiot at the cash when I noticed mu account has been CLOSED (closed as in no more online access either) a second time in the same day! This is not professional at all! How embarrassing for them… and I heard only bad stories, but this confirms it all. Regret buying my house with them! Horrible management.

Former Visa Desjardins card owner

Former Visa Desjardins card owner. Accidentally sent them a payment intended for another recipient. They lied to me and claim they had no information about me (despite the fact I supplied them with my card number).

Disputed the transaction with my bank. They tried contacting Visa Desjardins 3 times and were ignored every time. I will never get that money back.

Visa Desjardins is a complete disgrace. Worst experience I've ever had with a company.

Disappointed

I’ve been with this company for over 20 years. Have made a claim almost 20 months years ago and was treated well. But the last few years the company has changed. I’ve had trouble with them telling my wrong information. Now I’m buying a house and the man I deal with at the insurance will not get back to my lawyers and I’ve had to go out on the day of closing and find a new insurance company who can help me. I used to be able to trust in this company, I felt they had my back, which is what insurance is supposed to do, but now I’m feeling like I’m a number that they get money from. Sad to have had to write this, but want to warn others

Desjardins are thieves

Desjardins are thieves, they need to be investigated. I had withdrawn my money; was to get my payment 3-5 business days later, 7 business days later and still did not receive my money. I called and was told there was a glitch on their system and the amount I was supposed to receive has gone down by a significant amount. This has happened to many other people I know. How can your system always have a glitch and people are losing hundreds to thousands of dollars. I'm honestly so angry how big companies can do this and get away with it! CP24 this is news!
