My package was lost by the courier, but Desmond & Dempsey handled everything with great care and immediately arranged a replacement. I felt genuinely supported throughout the process — and I absolutely love the bathrobe. Highly recommended!

The pyjamas are beautiful! I love them! The prints and the colours are superb, very elegant and all that came in a lovely package. I didn't encounter any problem with the delivery. Happy customer here. 🙂

Very sadly, this proved to be a disappointment. The quality is distinctly underwhelming, and the overall finish feels far less refined than one would reasonably expect. It has an unmistakably cheap air about it, which is a great pity. I had anticipated something elegant and well made, but this fell rather short.

Having purchased several items from Desmond & Dempsey over the years, my most recent experience has unfortunately put me off buying from them again.

I bought a nightdress, and the strap broke after one use. While I was offered a replacement voucher, it came with restrictions - it could only be used on another nightdress and was valid for 12 months. When I tried to use the voucher on multiple occasions, I encountered repeated error messages. The voucher expires September 2026.

Attempts to contact customer service were equally frustrating. My emails bounced for weeks, and it was only after reaching out via Instagram that I was given an alternative email address.

What stands out most is the lack of flexibility and support, with the continual "sorry". The company offered to “reinstate” a voucher that hadn’t even expired, yet still restricted its use to the same product category. I had hoped to purchase a pyjama set instead, but this wasn’t permitted. Given my concerns about quality after the initial nightdress issue, I had little confidence in buying another nightdress.

I shared my disappointment - including with senior management- and the response fell short of expectations. In the end, I chose not to pursue the voucher at all, as the process has become unnecessarily difficult.

Overall, the experience did not reflect the level of service one would expect from a premium brand.

UPDATE: From the reply, it’s clear that the core issue- making the voucher usable for a nighty purchase - still hasn’t been addressed. Standard practice among other vendors is to ensure vouchers are available for use at any time within their validity period, in my case 12months expiring September 2026; D&D have not met this expectation. The suggestion that the voucher would be “reinstated” goes beyond what is considered necessary under basic principles of fair and ethical customer service. A voucher should simply be issued and fully usable, at any time I choose, for its stated validity period, or not issued at all.

First time buyer. Love the fabric because it is soft, crisp and cool. Ample sizing so allows room for movement. Modesty lining on top area is added bonus. Communication was timely and accurate. Received order within a week. The packaging is beautiful.

Beautiful pajamas that wash well. I ordered one pair after borrowing a friends on a trip, and have since ordered additional pajama sets, the fabric is perfect to stay cozy but not too hot under a duvet.

Delivery was quick, I've ordered multiple times to Canada and it just takes a few days.

Given the price and the picture, I had assumed that I was purchasing both top and bottoms of a pyjama set. I appreciate that it does say a top, however the photograph is misleading. More disappointing, the bottoms were unavailable to buy. As these were a present, I went on to buy some shorts which did not quite match but made do.

I ordered a robe. When I received it, it turned out to be slightly too small in the hips for me. With great regret, I am returning it. It is very high quality, soft, and thick.

I live in Sweden, and I had some issues arranging the return. Mina and Polly responded to my emails immediately and helped me resolve the problem. I am very grateful to them and very satisfied with the service.

The block print is darker on the reverse side, looks like the wrong side was used. Also the color is not the same for the shirt and the pants, different intensity of blue.

I’m a big fan of Desmond & Dempsey and have quite the collection of their pyjamas. I adore the quality, the prints, the divine boxes they come in, their incredible Sunday Morning paper and the brand’s personality. Customer service is fantastic! Mina helped me recently with an order and she was thorough, gave me updates without me prompting and overall an absolute delight!

Well, what a buy. I Love, Love, Love this robe. It’s so beautiful and feels so good on. Even seeing it hanging in my bathroom when I walk past it fills me with joy. The colours, material and patterns are so lovely, I hope D&D never stop making this as I would buy it over and over again.

The softest (and cutest) pyjamas! So comfy that I don’t want to take them off! D&D have come through again! Can’t wait to purchase in another colour!
