I am delighted to write a review of Des Oconnor and my ultimate experience with him. He's an honourable gentleman who delivers great value beyond the scope of requirements. I felt at ease with Des and trusted him right from the beginning of our project. He always tries his best to explain things clearly and with directive. I have no hesitation recommending Des to others, that are looking for a strong coach to help pave the way so to speak, whether it be on stage, AI or related services. He delivers with trust an professionalism and ultimately cares about the end result.

I’ve had the privilege of experiencing Des O’Connor’s work both in group settings and on a more personal level, and I can honestly say he is someone who leaves a lasting impact.

From the moment Des speaks, you feel his presence, sincerity, and genuine commitment to people. He has a rare way of making you feel instantly at ease — creating a space that is both safe and energising, where you feel respected, understood, and encouraged. His communication is clear, grounded, and deeply human, helping you make sense of what matters most without it ever feeling forced or overwhelming.

I’ve been to a couple of Des O’Connor events and have really enjoyed them. I found them very inspiring and engaging (unlike some others I’ve been to which were quite dull). He clearly has a genuine love for what he is speaking about and obviously knows his stuff. I’ve spoken to him on numerous occasions since, about some projects which I am pursuing, and he has been insightful, helpful and professional on all occasions. I would definitely recommend him, without hesitation.

Des has helped me turn a busy, high-pressure workload into a more productive and less stressful one. His expertise in AI and digital tools has already made a positive impact on how I work. As a Team leader and in management looking to use AI for staff training, I’ve found his guidance clear, practical, and highly relevant. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with him and would highly recommend his services.

Des was one of our most influential speakers at our previous Global Business Roadshow. His AI presentation blew our audience away. The presentation was simple, non-technical and interactive allowing our audience to build their knowledge on how AI can play a critical role in building their business. Des is now going to be our Official Host in May 2026.

I worked with Desmond O’Connor Desoconnor Dot ai in December 2024 for branding, marketing and consultation with AI automation services. I paid £3,500 upfront based on what was presented in his events and discussions. After making the payment, I learned several things that I wish I had known earlier:

There was no clear contract or written agreement before payment.
I later found out that by simply attending his event, attendees are considered to have agreed to his terms and conditions — which were not shared in advance. These include a strict non-refund policy after 14 days and delivery timelines stating that services wouldn’t begin for at least one month.

He requested payment to be sent as a 'gift' to a bank account under another person’s name.
This was supposedly his "business partner," and I was asked to send it this way to avoid VAT. This raised serious concerns later on when I had no official invoice or registered business information to refer to.

I could not find any company registration number on his website or via Companies House, which means the business may not be officially registered in the UK. This made it even more difficult to resolve things through legal channels.

Despite repeated requests for delivery and updates or a refund, I received no meaningful delivery of services and only vague promises of action that were never followed through. Eventually, I had to escalate the matter legally and involve a professional debt recovery agency due to the stress and lack of response.

I’m sharing my experience to help others be cautious, i have all communications to prove my bad experience.
