Second, the coffee table was fully assembled before you contacted us. As outlined in our sales and returns policy, assembled furniture cannot be returned, particularly for change-of-mind or handling-related issues. This policy applies to all customers and is standard for flat-pack furniture.
Third, based on the images you provided, the item was not assembled according to the instructions, which explains the alignment issues shown. In response, we promptly sent you detailed assembly guidance to help resolve the problem.
Despite this, and although we were within our rights to decline further support due to the item being assembled, we still offered a 15% partial refund as a goodwill gesture, with the aim of reaching a fair resolution.
We always strive to be reasonable and supportive, especially when issues arise. For that reason, we are disappointed that our efforts—including a heavily discounted price and an additional refund—have been described as poor customer service.
