This could not have been an easier process! My coordinator, Amy, was so sweet, understanding, and could read my expectations like a book. She found the absolute perfect venue and the entire event went extremely smoothly thanks to her communication.

As a busy 9-5er, she understood when and where I needed to be hands-off, and was great about communicating with guests for their accomodations as well.

We had the pleasure of receiving help from Amy Cate as our expert destination wedding travel agent. From the first time we talked with Amy on the phone after filling out the inquiry form, we knew right away we wanted her help through this process, and boy did she not disappoint! We chose our resort (Dreams Royal Beach, highly recommend), and that is when Amy just took over and made the entire process much smoother. She got our website setup where the guests would go to get information and book their rooms. She would be in direct contact not just with us, but any of our guests that had any questions throughout the entire process. She handled all the heavy leg work directly with the resort, and wedding department. She handled transportation for us and ALL the 60 guests to and from the resort. There is no chance we could've made this happen without the help from Amy and DestinationWeddings, and are truly grateful for her help. Our wedding/experience turned out even better than we imagined. Don't do this alone, I would highly recommend using DestinationWeddings and ask for Amy.

We had such a great experience with this company! Chris S. helped us find our venue and she was AMAZING. So helpful and personable. We had such a great relationship with our travel agent too. All of our family and friends who used them had nothing but great things to say about Rene. She is still helping us with things after the wedding. She was patient and super quick to reply to all of our millions of questions. This company is free, which made us hesitant, but they were honestly extremely organized and so on top of everything. Highly recommend this company to anyone planning a destination wedding! We got married in Punta Cana for reference.

Karen LaSala was simply amazing as our travel agent through Destination Weddings.

After numerous errors and a lack of communication by the first agent we were assigned, we requested a new representative. Thankfully Karen became our new agent. If we had Karen from the beginning, the company would’ve received five stars. We downgraded to four stars because of the initial agents service.

Karen quickly fixed all the mistakes that the previous agent had made and kept us and our guests completely informed throughout the entire process, all the way through the wedding day. Our guests frequently told us how awesome the service was from Karen and how she removed the stress they had been feeling prior to the switch. Karen sent me and my bride several congratulatory messages just prior to and on the day of our wedding. It was a very nice touch.

Karen quickly answered all our questions graciously too, even after the day of our wedding.

We highly recommend working with Karen if you are booking a Destination Weddings and I hope her company realizes what an asset she is to them!

There aren't enough words to truly describe how grateful I am. Destination Weddings was definitely the right choice to plan my Destination wedding. Stephanie Parks from the very beginning was communicative, knowledgeable, supportive and professional. She was so wonderful in being a buffer for my husband and I during the year long process. She assisted my family and friends through every adjustment. We had our wedding at Royalton Splash Riviera, it was absolutely stunning. Stephanie also was integral in keeping an open line of communication between us and the wedding planners. She made planning a wedding so smooth. I would recommend Destination Weddings to everyone.

My husband and I got married in the Dominican Republic in April of 2024! It was the happiest day of our lives… we were surrounded by 100 guests that made the trip to celebrate US! This would not have been possible without our travel agent, Rene Wills!!! Rene is dedicated to her clients! She goes the extra mile to personally know the couple she is working with and gets things done! Multiple times I had to reach out to her for help with the resort and she was responsive, professional, and timely. There are only a few things that I would change about our entire destination wedding experience, but using destination weddings (specifically Rene Wills) is NOT one. She is simply amazing and irreplaceable. Thank you Rene for your dedication, compassion, and work ethic. We are so thankful for you.

TJ Dana has been nothing but absolutely wonderful throughout my process of booking this wedding. My wedding is booked for June 7th of this year at dreams La Mareas, the booking has been in place for at least 18 months if not longer. My original wedding planner at the resort was Caroly, She was very rude, spoke over me, Never responded.

Tj immediately stepped in to address this issue, even Caroly was abruptive, interrupting Tj and trying to speak over her. Tj professionally stepped in and informed her that she was being rude and condescending and we would need to escalate this matter as she was not LISTENING to me and my concerns for my wedding day. Tj took the initiative to request a new planner at the Resort, which did not get approved request. Even with the resort denying the request Tj spoke to the Manger on a group conference call to ensure that the quality service in the future will be improved.

Even after this assurance from the manager things did not change. Caroly even had her team believe she kept all meetings with me but Tj was quick to defend the truth for me and resolve this misunderstanding and successfully got me a new planner at the resort to work with. She attended the conference call to ensure the quality of service was to my satisfaction eith the new planner and that no one would try to bully me again.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have her on my side through this planning process. Even when I visited the resort she called me daily to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction. She has worked with so many of our guest to assist them in their booking of rooms and transportation needs from the airpot to resort and back.

Tj is absolutely a blessing to me.

We had our wedding at Dreams Playa Mujeres on 04-18-24. It was a small wedding, only 9 of us all together. I had Monica as my wedding planner and it was amazing. We had a small ceremony outside at Azure Veranda and it was perfect. We had no plans for after the wedding because there were only 9 of us so we figured we would just go to dinner. We discussed this with a staff member, Alejandro Leon, down by the beach bar. He then found out we were having no reception so he called his friends Chef Hendricks and Jonathan and they came and met us and made us a special meal. The Mezas restaurant was closed down so they set us up a special table, and a special dinner that was absolutely delicious. It totally made our wedding day so much more special and I am so thankful for Alejandro and Chef Hendricks and Jonathan. They made our stay absolutely amazing. My husband is also in a wheelchair and we found this resort to be very wheelchair friendly.

When we starting planning our destination wedding, we had so many questions and had no idea about DestinationWeddings.com. We filled our the inquiry form and after being matched with Amy Cate, it made our wedding planning so easy and fun. Amy was so helpful, detail oriented and was able to pick the best resort for our style/ wants. She was able to book our 70 guests and answer all their questions as well. If she didnt have the answer, she would figure it out for us. Planning our wedding was such a fun experience with Amy. Best decision ever to go with DestinationWeddings and ask for Amy :)
